Nintendo should just develop a Game & Watch Gallery 5 collection and release it for Switch, with every single G&W game ever released included.

Not every single one, because some of them, like the Mickey Mouse ones, the two Snoopy ones, and the two Popeye ones, are in huge licensing flux, and it would be a bit too expensive to rerelease them in the collection, but ones that don’t have licensed characters from 1980-1991 are more than fine the rerelease.

@@firestar4407 Like Nintendo did with the original DK game… It was originally a Popeye game, and now look… It launched Mario and DK’s franchises…

Parachute x Octopus has a secret trick for getting a high score: When you are in the Octopus section make sure to steal treasure 4 times. When you are in the next Parachute section each catch will net you 2 points instead of 1. You can see this happen in the video at 29:26.

It's amazing that we used to be able to sit and play these rather primitive games for hours. I doubt kids these days can play this for more than a minute before getting back to their ipads and tiktock.

I have ADHD and I’m inclined to agree… I feel like Cranky Kong (the ORIGINAL DK) reminiscing about the good old days… My favorite game from that period is Adventure… Still get that hidden Credit Easter Egg EVERY time…

This collection is a joke. Just two games, and they are shorter and more primitive than anything else on the Switch. Compare it to the Atari collection that has dozens of classic games, or Konami's TMNT collection, that includes every Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game from the arcade, NES, SNES, Genesis, and GameBoy.

Frankly the Game & Watch Gallery collections for GB/GBA did a much better job updating the G&W games, and also having tons of more games inside rather than just 2.
