I got lucky and found it on my first search. "Shareware shooter" and searched by images. I may have lost my mind if it took any longer to find it. I was experiencing serious pain of thinking I would never find this game again. Like it really DIDN'T matter yet my brain would not let me forget.

Magnum Clore omg! i remember playin the full version once on my aunts computer in california that was about to get sold when we went on vaction....the sound effects music and overall gameplay was top notch so this and wolf3d bring back so many memories....wish this game was remade for real.....but glad to see that a lot of people still play this imao lol....

OMG! This dude is a psycho master dodger! Normally I wouldn't dare traverse Tango and Outer Regions with no less than 5 shields and nukes! I LOVE HOW THE TANK IN WAVE 7 WAS DESTROYED!!! The music in this game was fantastic as well!!!

@@planetx1595 That is interesting... I like the new porting work he is doing. But I still don't understand how the weapons don't have unlimited ammo. You fire hundreds or thousands of shots per level, and never seem to run out. Is there like some secret counter that eventually runs out if you stall on the boss? That'd be more like an Easter Egg than a game mechanic at that point...

The Laser Turret is essential for surviving the later stages of this game, and when you finally get that Twin Laser you know you've come a long way and that the stakes are at their highest.

Great game. 6:15 My record for the very first level on a new started elite game was 114.775cr with 40% shield left. This was cool as it allowed me to sell the AA missiles and get Dumbfire missiles already for the second mission. Also great was it to mash all available weapons by constantly pressing ALT. Nothing beats a Raptor that fires 4 laser at the same time (DeathRay + Twin Laser + Laser Turret). And using Logitech G15 or later gaming keyboard, you can use a makro that constantly switches through the weapons. :)

I played this game during my childhood... it was awesome! Did anyone else knew that using a specific key from the keyboard was actually a cheat? Don't remember if it was the tab key, but it gave you the second most powerful weapon, you can stack and sell them for a really fair price.

The cheat code for the death ray is backspace. Hold it down and you get a bunch of them and can sell them for unlimited money.

Theirs actually an HD remake for this game. It now supports up to 1200x800 res. Everything is the same but just higher resolution.

i remember messing around with the system date on my computer in order to see what all kinds of easter eggs they hid in this game -- i remember april fools' and christmas, but there may have been a couple of extra dates you could change it to as well.
