Just saying, you missed the "true" ending. Play as Sailor Moon in hardest difficulty, and finish it without continuing. I found it once I knew how to... play dirty. 1) Activate Shortcut Special Move 2) Spam Low-Punch Moon Tiara Action (Hold L and press Y) until your opponent is cornered in a reach of High Kick proximity (close but not "throwable"), or half of the screen. 3) ??????? (Beware of Sailor Uranus though) 4) Ending! Yes, this is a dirty trick but CPU's AI difficulty is pretty nasty.

Some special attacks are very badly programmed, as for example, the hurricane of Sailor Pluto (a move made to act against jumps should to have some time to be attacked after blocked). But we can ignore the programming errors and enjoy the game after all.

They should've gone with another beat em up here instead of a fighting game. The formula for beat em ups had been done three times by Bandai for the prior SFC/MD games, it wouldn't have hurt them to go back to the well again.

There are Sailor Moon S fighting games for Super Famicom and 3DO, and SuperS fighting games for SFC, PS1 and Saturn. I own them all, but have yet to dig out my 3DO to try out the 3DO game. Out of the ones I have played, the Saturn game is my favorite, though I'm happy to own all of them.
