I played this game recently with a friend. I was suprised on how much fun it is. While simple in it's premise, it appears to be suprsingly deep and makes for lots of sneaky and varied gameplay, when you play against a human opponent.

This game looks AWESOME and makes me wish Killer Instinct Gold and Weaponlord would get proper HD remixes.

The best soundtrack for super street fighter 2 Turbo remains the 3DO version, except for the intro music, its much better in this version.

I would rather see Capcom make a Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper: HD Remix with Ingrid as an exclusive character to the PS3 version. There are too many SFII remakes.

The problem is, they bumped up the resolution without changing the animation. This makes the animation look really choppy, the old graphics hid the lack of animation frames.

I agree that it doesn't look quite right. Everything seems more flat and just looks a bit off. I think they just picked a slightly wrong visual style when going to HD, like the game was made in Flash or something. It's ok but this could have been much better realized.

Alpha 3 had a subway stage and it had a GBA port. Otherwise I think there was only one other Street Fighter game on GBA and that was Turbo Revival but I can’t recall seeing a train in that one.

There are pluses and minus. Plus: Chung li, Vega, Balrog, Bison, T. Hawk, Sagat look great. Minus: the back grown arent as cool or colorful as before nor do they have any more animation than before. Cammy looks bad Dee Jay doesnt look as great either. Guile looked better as he was before IMO. The announcer isnt as great. some stages and coloring just look awkward. They seriously needed more animation and I do believe it wouldn't have ruined the play. Look @ SF3, not that many as but more.

@cubex55 They could increase the framerate by like 8 and then change hitbox every 8th frame so it would be like it is now but more fluently looking ;) Anyway it seems like the game have more than 4 fps, only the background is so screwed so I think they were just lazy not to enrich those animations.
