I wanna thank my friend. He's a retired veteran at the game. He told me go for IS-4 from the very beginning (tier 1), I went the T110E5 through my own enthusiasm (I thought T1 heavy was cool af). @@Mango_Eter Low crew makes any tank less good. But as far as I’m concerned it was my best option as a newbie America: Low armour British: Similar issue Germany: Very slow. Also new players always think that high armour = good but the shape of the tanks require skill to angle China: Bad depression EU: Pike nose (IS7 line has same issue, the pike is only viable at IS7, not before.) Now that I’m skilled I use these other heavies as they do perform better than IS4 in other aspects but as a beginner IS4 seemed like the ideal starter heavy tier 10, the line is fine too (except KV4, needs max crew to be good)

@@firenzarfrenzy4985low crew does indeed make any tank worse, but with the is4 it makes the mobility unbearably bad. The terrain resistances SUCK at low crew (think around 85% or less) and the is7 just doesn't have that problem, its mobility is always great. The is-8 has the same gun as the is-4 and is pretty mobile, and the is-3 is very mobile and with the BL-9 it's a great support heavy. The is4 line just feels so sluggy, and the tiger p-like upper hull with angled sections stops the is4 and st1 from sidescraping effectively.

The correcting angles of AP is what makes the Ho-Ri so powerful, and its premium AP actually more penetrating than APCR or HEAT with nominally more pen. Correcting an AP shot angle by even 5° can lower the nominal armour thickness by close to 10% in certain circumstances.

t110e3 got to be careful with it, Hull down so not to get shot in the front lower plate, use the 8 degrees of gun depression, cant angle or you will get penetrated easily and its very slow in reverse so you will get circled easily. The IS4 positioning in the start is bad would have penetrated if shot in the actual wheel tracks at the front. This video also looks very set up so the tanks don't get shot in the obvious weak points on them, except for the red teams, so don't trust what you see here.

I could be wrong but even if they didn't mean the tech tree grinds this is just sending abysmally wrong information towards players... What are they gonna think once they reach below average tanks like KV4, stock ST1, T28, STA-1 etc. and get absolutely blasted? There could've been better suggestions or they could've just made the video on a different topic in the first place... Maybe something about game mechanics to help newer players, since tier 10 is not about "easy to win tanks" but mostly skill. Even a noob in a STB-1 will lose to a unicum in something like a FV4202 or M48...
