Thank you, knocked by phone off a work bench onto a concrete floor and it went daft, managed to remove and reinsert the sim card thanks to your video, normal service has resumed, take the rest of the day off (if anyone asks where you're going tell them I said it was ok). Steve

Thanks for the video. Sounds like earring works for most people, but didn't for me. I bent two earrings without getting the tray to budge. A comment below gave me the idea to try to paper clip, which worked but it didn't "pop" out, just barely moved but from that point, with difficulty I finally got it out. It must have really been stuck.

I brought mine second hand and it didn't come with the pin to open the tray an I'm jus fiddling with a Bobby pin to get it open.has anyone else had trouble opening the tray too?

gratzi compadre for some reason it will not eject the slide to put in the memory card. Any thoughts on that? I am using a safety pin that fits into the tiny hole and goes in sufficiently? Never seen this happen before. Thank you for any feedback.

I'm a little confused and have never looked at or opened up my sim card area on my phone. Is there a card in the Galaxy A12 plus the sim card? It looks like when you opened your phone sim card area there was a sim card and another card that said samsung 32 on it . So when you changed your sim card you also put that 'other" card back too. So both the sim card and the card that says Galaxy 32 on it remain in the phone?
