Carey Cash was my battalion chaplain in 2002-2004. 1st Battalion 5th Marine Regiment. We invaded Iraq. I saw miracles. Left and right. My fireteam was in a mud hut being shot at and impacted by a friendly 50 cal with SLAP rounds. Nobody was touched. I saw RPG’s in Baghdad, inexplicably divert from hitting my AAV. Multiple times. Carey Cash baptize me in Ad Diwania in May of 2003. Carey Cash is now the Chaplain of the Navy. The head chaplain over all of the navy and Marine Corps. I absolutely love this man.
