Zeidler's approach is completely different from everyone else, and it clearly works. Coaches always preach long, full extended strokes, but he never did more than 3/4 slide and most was half slide. He's such a tall guy too, it's very interesting. I'm a shorter rower, I'm curious to try this approach. Edit: At any rate, it really reinforces the idea of tuning things to one's specific body dimensions and individual biomechanics.
