Yay! Hudson! I may be British, but I currently own a Great White Hudson 1x and love it to bits. My next boat (if/when I need/can afford it), USP!

Good evening, I'm interested in a rowing boat and read an article on that. There are terms that I don't really get the meaning: 1- pin block. 2- bow mount rigger. We’ve been Rowing in a Hudson8 upto recent ,tricky thing :easily unballanced Recently got into an empacher8 which is nice but less challenging.

Carbon fiber boats are stiffer and faster than the old wooden boats (and harder on your back) but nothing compares to a cedar Stampfli , a Carl Douglas or a King.
