Argentina WIN the Vancouver Sevens!

Argentina have won the 2022 Vancouver Sevens, defeating Fiji 29-10 in the cup final to cap off an exhilarating weekend of HSBC Sevens Series action at Vancouver's BC Place Stadium. Double tries from both Felipe Del Mestre and Marcus Moneta helped propel the Argentinians passed the Fijians en route to their first series win since 2009!

This is a great time of victory and success on your coach, team and country. This is the real spirit of 7s rugby without fighting or throwing fists - that's not it. Great win and thumbs up for Argentina. Play with enthusiasm but with the proper rules of the game then everything will be alright. Add to that is to play 7s with joy and fun. It keeps the international community happy and united as well. You are well known as the best 7s team in the world. But you have accepted and welcomed the defeat without struggle or complain. You are a role model for all the great 7s teams in the HSBC 7s international tournaments. This makes 7s rugby one if not the greatest and interesting sport on the planet. Two great teams need the standing ovation and applause - 1. Argentina the victors of the Vancouver 7s leg, and 2. Fiji the 2nd place winner and the most champion team on the planet.
