Haber separado el Sevens del Rugby Unión fue un gran cambio, desde ahí se empezó a ver la mejora, antes los jugadores del RU jugaban para el seleccionado Sevens, ahora existen escuelas y academias de rugby Sevens por todos lados y ni hablar de los torneos que hay, que son mucho más accesibles que los torneos de Rugby Unión, especialmente para los colegios.

As were almost all of us there yesterday, the support was mostly for the underdogs, having said that, I did feel some shame that Argentina at times were being bood having scored, no doubt a reaction based on politcs.. The Argies played a blinding game, much improved on their earlier contests, they deserved better than booing, These guys love rugby every bit as much as the rest of us.. and like the rest of us, have very little influence on their political masters. Fiji as a nation does not want to see a player break the back of another player because he is to stupid to follow rules, to undisciplined to control his emotions. All those that are whinning about the RED Card: the ref applied the rules perfectly. The argentinian legs were beyond the horiziontal, and his HEAD DID HIT THE GROUND in a whip lash movement. Silly Fidjian, who surely knows darn well his action was unnecessary. However, i felt sorry for F, much too early in the game for having to deal with a permanent disadvantage. For those whinning it was not a Master Class, a good team knows how to exploit such an advantage, and that is Masterly. Having said that, Fidji put up a remarkable good fight, very gallant, indeed. Congrats aplenty to both, and of course to NZ, undoubtably the worthy CHAMPIONS!
