I have hair algae, i have some amano shrimps, and a bristlenose pleco, but i can't seem to get rid of the hair algae... Its even worse because its on my java moss on the driftwood... Hello sir, I have been following from a long time and to be honest, you were to one from who I got confidence to have my own aquarium. It's been 1 month since I started my aquarium, everything is fine, good plant growth and its been a week I added fish. Basically everything seems fine but I have one issue. Bro dnt use any algae eaters for gold fish not even plecos. The reason was goldfish had a thicker slimer coat which may be toxic to other fishes but the icing on the cake is cory's,plecos,ottos tend to eat that slimecoat constaly chasing goldfishes which stress the goldfish much further and result to some damage slimecoat or a diseased fish. Even shrimps arent recommendas shrimp need plants to survive and goldfish munch on plant. Golden rule of thumb.. Goldfish eats anything that fits in his mouth. Better do constant water changes, good filtration system probably a canister filter.

Sir, I am confused whether to use Seachem Purigen as one of the filter media for my planted tank or not. Few hobbyist debate over the product as it removes phosphate from the water. Please guide. 🙏

Purigen only removes organic waste, it is not necessary if you keep your tank clean

Very informative really happy with it but sir I have a fish tank with 1 goldfish and 2 koi...its been here since one month i have heater and even the filter which doesnt create bubble but my goldfish has nowadays started creating bubbles on the surface....pls let me know the reason sir..

Check whether the filter is appropriate for your tank and check the water temperature, it should not be over 28

Hi sir, i have a planted aquarium since 7 months..substrate is locally bought aqua soil....3 days back my hus changed the water ..and now its turned completely black..i changed 80 percent water today..but still its the same...the aqua soil has strted to powder...should i change the substrate to normal river sand?
