He also built our childhood home litterally from the ground up. Only things standing at some point were the supporting beams. He rebuilt that entire farmhome. ❤ amazing dads like that should be cherished. Its also the reason I can't seem to find a decent dude for myself either... expectations probably to high 💀🙈

My grandma had a lobster business in the early 90s in marathon, in the keys in florida before the Govt came in and kicked all the little guys out. I used to go help pull traps and dive with her all summer. Shed take me to a moral eel she was "friends"with and wed feed it. I slept on the main boat and wed have lobster and eggs and just about everything you can eat with lobster in it. awesome summers!

I've learned a lot of things watching this channel. Probably my favorite is how to tell what sex a lobster is. At work when I'm prepping lobster tails I look at every single one now before I start cutting. It's a fun, interesting, and utterly useless talent for someone in my field of work.

Guess I'm not the only Mainer rocking a Blackstone flat top griddle out in the wilds. Love that thing. Had a heck of time with it in the winter because the line would keep freezing up, but i figured out how to work around it. I do snowmaking in the winter, cook burgers and all kinds of fancy stuff up on the mountain for my crew during breaks. Sometimes I just come in to cook all day really, I only break even those days because I fund it, but it's whatever ya know? I have a blast doing it, and it's nice to decide which days you actually work-work. The boss man, he's a VERY corporate company man so you can tell it makes him sweat that it's outside the box lmao but he does appreciate it for what it is and doesn't complain, I'm glad the lad has begun adapting to our Mainer ways of doing things.
