I really like my 525iLST. The only bummer was the steel plate protector rusted on me in the first year. I’m 0.75 miles from the sea. Salt in the air. Maybe most will not have this issue. Never had any other lawn equipment rust so quickly tho

Fabricate a new protector plate of thicker aluminum or stainless steel. You can do it. Then no more rust at all.

So what is your main use for this trailer?I have a 12×7×3 and am considering getting a 16' Mainly for brush etc. Probably would go with taller side. Thoughts?

i will add taller sides when i am healed. i did not need this large of one. But I wanted one bigger than dirty filter. As he use to laugh at my smaller dump trailer, so now i bust on him lol. but will be used for tons of stuff. landscaping and possibly junk removal

The height is impressive, but does one actually need that capability. Like what wouldn't slide out of there at half that angle? And the delay when you pull the trigger on the weedeater actually sucks a lot to me. I have the Echo 56v 17 inch kombi one and its super annoying.

I am use to the delay. worth not using a 2 stroke. no vibration is amazing. and you dont have to worry about running it half throttle. 2 stroke gums up when used at low rpms. many advantages
