US and UK collaborated in the act of war against Germany and destroyed the Northstream pipeline. An amoral empire fueled by greed travels the world with its aircraft carriers to commit war crimes. They're brothers in war crimes. It is reminiscent of Operation Ajax. A cooperation between MI6 and CIA. It's better to have an enemy in the front than friends like this in the back.

My dad’s ship (ARS36) operated out of Portsmouth during the weeks leading up to D-Day during WW2. Ran away from home because he couldn’t stand his stepmother, enlisting in the Navy at age 17. Turned 18 while helping to clear the beaches at Normandy of damaged / sunken landing craft so that more material / men could be placed ashore. That generation grew up fast.

Many of our British cousins have made harsh comments lately about malfunctions aboard your new brace of flat tops. Remember that this Ford behemoth took 21 years to design and launch. @@cjoin83 I don't know. We have problems that date back to Katrina still here in New Orleans that haven't been addressed properly yet. That's pushing 20 years now. Hurricane Ida added to these problems last year. We are handing out billions to Ukraine every month but we have issues at home that apparently we have no money to fix. This boat is a great example of everything that's wrong with this country I think. It is completely unnecessary. It is provocative. It won't fix any of the problems we actually need fixing but will take funding away from those problems. It doesn't solve security problems either (only diplomacy could ultimately do that but Raytheon et al can't shakedown the taxpayer with diplomacy because it doesn't cost anything). I don't think there is anything here to be proud of man. But hey, at least we get to have a war now with the Russians which we seem to salivate over the prospect of. Don't be surprised though when we just pull out of Europe and the UK if it comes to nuclear blows. We seem to love fighting wars far away from home and last I checked Europe is pretty far away from home.

I heard stories from Desert Storm when they sent in the battleships. I believe Missouri was the one they were talking about. If the US sent a destroyer or a frigate or basically anything else into the area, there would be insurgents on shore shooting at them. When the battleship rolled in, nobody fired a shot. You can tell what that is just by looking, even if you never heard of a battleship before.

Having been a guest onboard USS Nimitz in Hong Kong many years ago I thought that was a massive ship but this beast makes it look like a rowing boat! What an incredible and beautiful ship this flat top is. Wish we had some of these in our Navy, what a game changer it would be! I hope the sailors enjoy there shore leave in Pompey.
