Saw many tutorial and this is hands down the best one for one single reason. You did just one guide line, from open than to close lever right away so we could see exactly how the fade happens! A lot of tutorials tends to do 3 or more guide lines with lever open first, so then they close it and start redoing everything with closed and mid lever, which gets pretty confusing on where are they going exactly to fade it properly.

I cut my sons hair a while ago it came out horrible I’m in barberschool I’m trying to learn how to do a fade I’m learning more and more each day it’s my third weeks second day, anyway it’s just not that easy for my it’s hard for me to understand something isn’t clicking for me I’m over thinking but at the same time trying to remember all the steps :/ can u tell me anything give me some advise ? Literally anything? Seriously because I don’t know
@opinionatorX Жыл бұрын
@@LilRobby Hang in there bro. It gets easier. When fading think in terms of levels and steps. Each attachment guard has a specific level of hair it will remove. Watch how Dre is using his guards while closing and opening the blade to get the desired level to blend the fade. Unless you are doing an even steven cut you'll on need on guard for the length. Not sure if you've cut grass before. But the lawn mower has levels that you cut grass to. Fading is like a slope. The higher part has more hair and the lower has less hair. And each attachment blade is numbered. The larger the guard the more hair and the smaller the guard less hair. Again think slope. You are the artist with those clippers. Create your art using the most basic guideline and work from there. Keep practicing and take your time. You'll be a beast! Godspeed.....

@@opinionatorX thanks thank you! Today went well I gave my first hair today basically well other then a mannequin or Myslef or my child but, this can out as u can image since I started barberschool,way better than expected! It was weird the guy kinda looked at the mirror a couple time my friend.. and like when it came time for my guideline, I was trembling and it came later in the cut then expected.. but it was like I knew what I was doing way more than I thought, wasn’t perfect he was satisfied leaving my place even though couple comments like yeah I’m just beginning but yeah thank you! I’ll keep it up! Keep at it !!

Lol it’s cold out but I may go look for it feel somewhere maybe?.. was crazy but I’m happy I couldn’t believe it!oh ok thank u I’m still listening to u I still am I student! It was like I came it with the clippers 3/4 closed I didn’t know what to do, but I SO DID I guess if that makes sence. Not I guess but yea, and I closed level toward end.. when I evened out my patch like 100% so patch was basically gone because very first second I put patch on accident 🤭😬 .. oh ok even that makes sence what u said about dre opening and closing blade. wOW! Even Steven right ok that makes sence oh wow okay 👍🏼 on attachment clip right? Thx. Yea it was funny at first impossible had wrong comb to clipper over comb
