I really like that Corvair, sir. My brother has a yellow one, and he drove me to school in it everyday. He got a wrecked helicopter and took the jet turbine out of it. He put that baby in it last spring, and the blonde chicks really dig him.

Tom, my son bought an engine that you built last year. I flew out to his home last October and helped him install it. It is a bear. We got it in the car and fired it up at about 10 p.m. at night. His neighbors probably weren't too happy but he sure was. Back in the day I had a "62" Monza. My Dad and I rebuilt the engine and I added headers and dual glasspacks. It was a really strong running car. I've always had a soft spot for Corvairs and Ralph Nader was wrong. My son has the car that we installed your engine in and a "62" Rampside that he got last year also. Sorry this is so long but with everything he's told me about you I kinda feel like I know you. You sir, are a legend.

Thank you John for your kind words. I enjoyed meeting Dan and am happy he's enjoying his 'new' ride. He left me with a few souvenirs from Newton Division which was very thoughtful. I have a '64 Corvan I bought in 1967 that has been with me through thick and thin. Corvairs make good trucks. TomKeo
