I have a 2019 Honda Accord Sport and I didn't care about the breaking point, I stepped on that pedal to see if this car is worth every penny I spent on it. And right now, she is still hanging through for me ! Hondas are really great reliable cars if you take really good care of them

After seeing this video, I cant believe they dropped soo many features compared to the Canadian Si. We get the full digital instrument cluster not the half one, shift lights above the cluster, cluster can change colors, heated seats(front and rear), heated steering wheel, fog lights, dual zone climate, the wireless charging pad, rear view mirror has electric day/night mode with homelink button, side view mirrors have built in sequential turn signals and front and rear parking sensors. And ours in Canada is cheaper somehow? MSRP is 33k which is about 26k US.

Picked up my Canadian version today. Took advantage of the market and actually traded in my golf R for more than I paid for it 2 years ago. Gotta say I’m really liking the si. Feels very solid and has a ton of features (at least for Canada) wish it had a little more torque but no complaints other than that. Great car.

@@thefoatmediaI'll offer my opinion as a current golf r owner who owned a 10th gen si. While I don't have an 11th gen, based on the reviews, I'll say it has alot of features and would be comparableto the golf r in that aspect. However, performance wise I doubt it's anywhere close to a golf r. You're going awd to fwd and the power just isn't there. IMO it would be a trade down. I would think a more lateral move would be to go from a golf r to a type r. But like the op said he was taking advantage of the used car market now and probably couldn't pass up the money he got for his golf r. Again just my opinion and don't want to speak for op. I still think this version of the si could be the best one yet and it's actually one of the best looking ones. It's more grown up

I bought the 2021 Subaru WRX back in May. Fog lights, heated seats that are totally needed, all-wheel drive just as needed, high torque and high horsepower. Yes; the new SI has a much more modern interior look and feel, but still glad I have the WRX.

Does the 11th gen have the same clutch as the old type r? I see it is now a single mass flywheel design. Would be nice to have a factory clutch that can handle some bolt ons and flex fuel.

Hey Nick! I, also, got the new 22 Civic Si (Sonic Gray) and it is fun… but there are a few quirks that is a little annoying. I just noticed that there is no way to disable the whole “drive mode” selection screen. Meaning, if you change it to Normal, Sport, or Individual, you’re whole tachometer and infotainment screen will say those modes. Also, there is no shift light beep (hitting redline). I’ve seen HondaPro Jason’s comparison video about U.S. SI vs Canada SI; and Canada will always get the best features.

Yes we have noticed that too. Those are things I can live without. I rarely look at the RPM to shift. Once you get comfortable with a car you'll feel/know when to shift etc. The Canada one is pretty sweet though.

It was an 8.1 seconds 0-60 by the couple of launches he did...also I only saw boost go from around 12-15 psi which is interesting...10th gen was definitely faster just based off of those couple of pulls

It's just a rating. Lower HP cars can still out run higher HP cars if they are set up better. Based off the full 24 hours of owning this I can confidently say, the 11th gen is set up better.

Just to add up. Canadian model gets full digital gauge cluster with a shift light. Where US spec. gets a anlog gauge on right side. ☺️

I’m counting about 8.7 seconds for your 0-60. Too many factors to say how that compares with a stock 10th with stock tires and 3 guys in the car, but the important thing is it looks fun to drive.

The plan is to put a draggy but I think I can give a fair comparison because if you look closely, I also did a pull by myself. I've have lots of time in the 10th gen Si and I know this car is definitely set up better. The elimination of tire shake (stock vs stock) is a huge advantage to the 11th. Got anything else in mind for the next video with the Draggy?

I’ve had a 11th gen touring since July. 10k miles and it’s an absolute blast to drive even with the cvt. Gotta love the SI boost in power, manual trans and seats, but the lack of dual climate and other premium features is a pass for me in a commuter car. I’m sure Honda did some of this to keep the new Integra a premium-sport offering.
