Pilot buddy of mine saw two fatal mosquito crashes, post war. It seems that doing a "go-around" was particularly dangerous manoeuvre. Apparently it involved rapid adjustment of fuel cocks by the flight engineer. Not the best craft to be in when it crashes.

Looks like it will need a lot longer runway and at least 4 times the speed to get any air. The real Mosquitos were notoriously difficult at take off and landing.

I admire the effort in this but as an ex RC pilot of many years I'm rather confident the wing loading on this model will be way too high for it to get off the ground. It's simply too heavy. Did you consider how critical the Centre of gravity is too on such a small model? Saying all this did it fly?

I think i knew this from the start.... but.... wait for the final chapter, hopefully in the next two weeks if i get time to do the final edit. I will tell you though, she goes like a rocket on the runway....keeping her straight is another matter. She behaves like a real mozzy... skitish as hell! :)
