It's official. This is a 4-door GTR from Korea. I thought Genesis Coupe was the only one to sound like a GTR but this one is a legit budget friendly GTR R35 with a freakin 4-Doors 😂

@@rodgazinya This is a Twin Turbo V6 with AWD option available by customer choice. If properly tuned - it can take on Corvette C6 ( which was the GTR R35 arch nemesis in 2008 ) Tested on Nurburgring Nordschlife. Sounds like a GTR R35. Did i missed something ? 😁 Oh yes - it does have 4 Cylinder turbo engine which is currently 300hp from factory which should be enough to take on some stock Lancers & Imprezas ( i know this will trigger you ) Stinger 2022 - 4 Cylinder is estimated to go 0-60 in 5.2 secs while Lancer Evo X MR 2008 5.3 secs and Impreza WRX 2020 0-60 is in 5.6 secs. so what else does it need to be if that's not enough ? 🙂 For the info - i like the impreza - lancer - GTR & corvette 😁 One more thing - i hope you didn't like your own comment 😉

Incredible! What was your rear tire size ? How much to send you my ECU and tune it? Also do you have a pulsation when the brakes are heated up and you hard brake? I've changed all the pads to brake performance, slotted front rotors and steel brakes lines all 4 wheels. I still have that problem. Thx

28x10x18 for rear tire. ECU tuning can vary, but starts at $895. Yes, fixed the brake pulsation with new rotors and pads.

Simple line lock would do it.

Not for the AWD, the AWD gets very grumpy with holding the front tires stationary while doing a burnout.

I never figured out a way to get it installed, there is a small piece inside of the fuel pump assembly that I need to CNC and I simply have not had the time to sit down and get it done.

@@TorkMotorsports Nope, a proper tune does not fix a slow throttle response which some cars are built with. I've used it on a VW Golf R which also has a bad lag on throttle off the line and it made a big difference and the Golf was tuned by the way.

@@vroomgc um, find a better tuner. I can crank up the throttle opening even so fast it makes the car damn near undriveable. All throttle control is build into the ECU, so yes.. you can fix throttle lag with a proper tune.

Mostly cast, some pressure cast items, with a cast steel crank. The AWD can support 500 HP very easy.

I just say this because the japs have been putting forged cranks into basically everything for 40 years so sounds a bit odd for a 3.3T to have a cast crank. My 70hp datsun had a forged crank. Id expect at least the crank and rods will be forged in the stinger, but thats nothing special.

Crazy. So it looks like I will have to get rid of my jeep and I was wondering if the stingers had any potential. So I first wanted to see if any were running at least tens and I see that six months ago this cracked a 10.9 that’s decent. I didn’t notice one trap speed though. What does it trap? I also noticed it looks like you have drag wheels and slicks I’ve never had the opportunity to try that on my Jeep I’m used to just drag radial street tires. Mine runs consistent mid tens at 132ish typically so I just wanted to see if a stinger could get to that ballpark without to too much trouble but it looks like I’m wishful thinking a bit? Very cool car I respect what you’ve done with it 👍

Trap speed is 125 to 128 so far. Drag radials will work also, just have to get a tune that is lower in torque to take advantage of the RWD. AWD cars do not have this issue. The Stinger can get there, but how far into that 10 second range is still to be determined.

Remember, this powertrain has been stated and widely believed to be able to handle up to 800WHP. This is why KIA can offer a 10 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty. They OVER built this beast. It allows tuners A LOT of room for enhancements.
