You guys should check out exocagedrc channel he puts Vitavon on all his badgers and does videos on how to install it all and he used a LMT chassis and put a axial ryft cage on it he called it the mega ryft and it's awesome with every Vitavon upgrade they make for it. I'm talking about axle housings, wheels, sway bar, front and rear diff, it's a breast!!!

Yes on the long term reviews. So many KZbinrs in the RC space right now, I think it is good to know what they keep and play with off camera and not just the latest thing sent to them to review. Great repair job BTW! Love those zip ties!

Can I make a suggestion for your second one buy the roller, install hobbywing max 8, lower the battery tray run 6s, treal axels and sway bar, upgrade just the lower link to metal, stiffen up the suspension a little for the extra weight and dont forget limit straps. Totally worth the money it will be a tank after all that and crazy power. I would love to see your reactions driving this one.

Ive been running mine with a 4s. So far no issue's. Normally crank the transmitter back to 75% while bashing, then go back to 100% when needed. That extra power is nice to have when needed.

I got the Treal billet axles Ayer going through four plastic axles and haven’t really broken anything but servo horns for six months. Probably one of my favorite trucks at this point 😃

LOVE YOU GUYS! I personally love the looks of the truck. I kept stripping rear diffs. The motor and Esc are overpowered, it handles 4s which is not advertised. I ended up selling it and keeping the motor combo. Thanks guys!!!👍

For those that don’t mind needing to maintain them and work on them a bit, it’s the best RTR in that price range available imo! Run it stock on 2s for scale monster truck racing and tricks, or beef it up with Treal or Vitavon (I went with Treal) and bash it on 3s! My favorite RC.

I was late to the party , i won a King Sling about a year ago... from my understanding it has the reinforced axle housings... i managed to break one very early on, and repaired it with CA glue and ash, then reinforced the webbing inside with CA and ash... its held up for at least a few packs since the repair. I hope to get a better servo saver and some Jconcepts monster truck tires soon, I think my kids and I would use it more if it were a monster truck instead of the mud truck... Very much enjoy long term reviews and wish more channels would do some of those... keep that kind of videos coming... Cheers

Definitely a great truck losi has done a great job with latest lineup of rc. Only problem I’ve had so far with my losi son uva digger bashing. Bottom of rear shocks comes apart then the spring falls out. It’s part where shock screw in the cup. Happened twice so far. This time I super glue were screws in because I got tired of losing the springs. and adding HR suspension limit straps. Adding metal bumper so you don’t smash headlights like I did helped. A along metal chassis axle support braces. Help strengthen those parts. So far it holds up great. truck runs great and just beautiful truck. I will continue to buy losi products! They killed it with losi 22s camaro. It’s a great drag car. I’m trying to get to 70mph on, i got it to 64mph so far. :) thanks for reviews rc kiwis 🥝 y’all are a beautiful couple and I enjoy y’all videos. Keep up the great work. ☺️

If you are going into water and mud silicon spray it, it gives some protection and cleans easier 😉

I got the King Sling monster truck and it's wicked fast and Fun as heck! Just fyi the axle housings are plastic and will crack if you hit a rock like I did after 1st hour of play. Upgrade the front steering link to a metal Treal one ($18) for better front end protection. If your really bashing go for metal axle housings just pricey at $168 each. And fyi this is too powerful a truck for kids under 13 or so...could hurt you or somebody if not careful..it's heavy.

Hmmm. Got me thinking. I've got a nitro stadium truck that I converted to a vintage dirt track car (36 Chevy body from McAllister racing). I've got a fleet of LaTrax Rally cars for when my nieces are over. I've got an Infraction that I don't run very often because of the severe tire wear. Had a T-maxx years ago but don't have a monster truck now. Maybe add one of these to the fleet?

I would never buy this. I’m taking a stand against Losi’s MO of creating a vehicle & then discontinuing it after only a couple of years. Instead of just making a great model even better every couple of years. I received an email from Horizon saying that this was a direct replacement for the 3 XL-E.
