Hi matt nice video I am a pilot for Thomas Cook airlines your app was good pretty much realistic barring I have to suffer the terrain warnings but anyway nice job. You should try going a Virtual Airline because you can fly to more challenging real world airports like LGSK in Greece.

The engines idle position is normaly N1 = 20, but with gear down for saftey reasons is it set to N1=40... That is why the engines powering up... One of the 737NGX features :D

Mat , as a final fix after OEV use WI005 , its not on the charts but it is there and your FMC will recognise it , basically after OEV you make the right hand turn towards the final fix WI005 and it lines you up perfect with your runway 8 approach

Do a landing approach at Paro Bhutan, right in the Himalayas, you need ten years flight experience and have to be a captain to approach that airport and there are only 15 pilots trained to land there.

TrackIR keybinds override the keybinds for whatever game you are playing, so you need to rebind your TrackIR stuff to get your flaps keys to work in FSX.

I’m not sure why people say LOWI is hard, my friend first challenged me to go from Heathrow to LOWI and I was able to get all four wheels on the ground in a A320 no problems, but he also in a A320 had to go around 4 times before he crashed into the side of a mountain.

Whats about a continous descent from the break off point for the circling to the turning point for the base? There is no need to level off well before the base turning point with everything down and out! A pro should be able to do that...

Awesome, well flied! May I ask how you have you reverse thrust setup, I can't seem to activate it. Right now I have it to I press a butten to cut the throttle then raise the reverse lever. That's the on Y way il been able to get it to work.

Throttle should be cut before you touch down in the first place. Then once you're down, you're still going to have to push that button a second time. It's pretty much the only way it's gonna go reverse mode.

Matt, can I ask you one question that, I have just bought the Track IR 5 and weridly, the view position in PMDG 777 and Airbus 320 is so high and close to the panel, because of that I cannot adjust the view with trackir correctly, do you have any idea or suggestion about the Track IR profile forme to fix that ? Nothing Less then a GTX780, GTX780Ti is your into other modern gaming aswell. 1 will do fine, are you a deep pocket user? Go for a titan. or two of any of those, but nothing less.

Honestly, as a high end tech nerd... I recommend you do exactly that and actually wait for the Prepar3D development to catch up, high end developers are working on it. But unsupported ports from FSX to P3D mightn't do anything good either, and by that time... maybe go for an intel system already. You could though if you wanted, try for FS9, there are some good products out there and a hella lot of scenery, and runs pretty okay... Imo better from the box than FSX did.

I am surely missing something here. But the special loc/dme approach east looks for me like a guide on how to land on 26. The path you took seems to be the missed approach procedure for exactly that runway. Am I wrong? Another point I don't get ist what the difference between the special and the "normal" loc/dme approach east is.

+Robert Peters (r2p2) No the missed approach is for both rwy26 and circle to land 08. If you can't see the rwy. The missed approach procedure is actually more difficult than the circle to land. And it's the MA that limits the size and performance of a/c into Innsbruck. To execute the MA at ABSAM at 4,400ft QNH a full power climbing turn to the left with a radius of only 1,700 metres back to ABSAM. Continue climbimg to 9,500ft QNH in the direction of RTT and enter the hold with a procedural turn if you intend to have another go. Else contact ATC to go to your alternate.

+Robert Peters (r2p2) You fly the missed approach for the rwy to which you have been cleared by ATC. In the case of Innsbruck Rwy26 and RWY08- circle to land, have the same missed approach procedure. RWY08 via KUHTAI has its own MA.

What a PC system you are using ? I have a I5-3570K (orig. 3,4GHz) over-clocked to 3,9GHz / a Nvidia GTX 660Ti / 16Gb Ram ... and I have eveytime stutting and only 10-15 fps.

You're gonna need at least an OC of 4.4 and a Gtx 970 with tweaks to your .cfg to run FSX at 25-30 fps with high-max settings.

+1999Fusion Press the spacebar and move your mouse arround the cockpit, if you pressing the space bar & the scrool mouse you can zoom in or zoom out the camera. i hope you have a better flying experience!

I have about 20 fps in the PMDG 777... Over the ocean. How did you get your fsx so smooth? I have a similar machine to yours... only I have an AMD FX-8320 at 3,5 GHz. Will only overclocking do the trick ? I also tweaked the fsx.cfg (Highmemfix and Affinitymask and so on). Or is it just that intel processors are better ?

I've just bought FSX and I have a couple of questions : - first of all , is this FSX or xplane ? - 2 ) Why are you able to press all the buttons on the plane while in my version some of them are like fake and I cannot press them -3) how do you manage the game to look so damn realistic ? 1. This is FSX 2. This Aircraft is called PMDG 737NGX (payware), its more detailed than the stock 737 from fsx. 3. I think he uses ORBX (payware too), Active Sky Next (payware) and a lot more to make fsx look better, Im not pretty sure about this one: "Fsx is not using your Graphics Card, only the proccesor. Because Microsoft has done a really bad job in coding the programm (2005-2006) 4. PMDG 737NGX Hope I could help :)
