@@meer7872 sure, for group play and plat+ it's not as hard. solo queue at Bronze-Gold is a different story. when you get team mates with no game sense and terrible positioning, whilst also staggering their deaths... it's not so easy. I had to start season 1 with my bronze mmr from 2016 because I merged my PlayStation and blizzard accounts. I've gotten to gold several times only to be knocked back down every time and only like 10% of my losses are really a healer diff

@@Kamikazeman1234 At that calibre with that luck, any role is difficult. Can't move as tank because supports don't keep you alive and damagers don't make picks or use your space. Can't move as damage when tank won't make space or supports aren't prioritising or positioning well. Support is generally the easiest because one can minmax his healing rotation and generally make his team so survivable that their bad gameplay is mitigated.

I'm absolutely mesmerised how good chazm is with the grapple... Consistent double, or even triple boops, sometimes even quads. Also the technique that he has never addressed nor provided to KarQ or anyone in a tips video: after a boop you don't need to slow down and reignite fireball, you can turn about 45º and that resets the boop rate. He moves between techniques with such natural fluidity, from double fireball boops, double grapple boops, triple grapple boops, pinballing, washing machining, rebounds, wall jumps from every angle and direction and on enemy players!

I feel like your climbing will be easier from high diamond and master's onwards as you get matched with players who actually know how to play with ball and shoot the enemies you boop/slam for them to get easy picks (with you not being able to shoot them yourself) so looking forward to that :)

If a player is so fundamentally better at a hero than anyone else in the lobby at a certain elo, the argument that smurfing with a handicap makes it fair isn't the right argument to make. You could argue that the handy cap gives them a chance, but that doesn't change the fact that gm game sense, movement, and mechanics overwhelms the other team without needing to chase kills, especially at lower elos where players dont know to play against ball.

Most regular unranked to GM are super boring. This is so much fun to watch. And there’s no doubt in my mind you will get to GM. Honestly once you get to high ranks and have DPS that can effectively follow up on your slams I don’t think you’ll have much of an issue

Ball is so frustrating to play against. The thing about it is that Ana and Brig can both severely hinder him but you have to be cracked to do it. I had a game a few days ago on Ana that I had 16 sleep darts landed and all were on the GM ball-he only had 1 death at the end of the game despite that. It’s SO hard to kill him even with a full team looking and with him asleep. Even with their tank asleep most of the game, we still almost lost because of how much chaos he was causing while sleep was on cooldown.

In a first person shooter, he is forgoing the number one means of user activity. I don't think there is any fairer caveat to going unranked to grandmaster. It's not even illicit in the first place, as it would be the game's issue placing a good player in a low lobby. Dropping to bronze and going up is illicit.

I dig the content but the “it’s not really smurfing if I’m handicapped” argument is tough to believe you believe. The reason why unranked to GM is fun to watch is the same reason why it’s inherently kinda toxic. Like, Mike Tyson can’t just tie a hand behind his back and walk onto a playground and be like “tell me why this isn’t fair, little Billy.” Either your handicap is legitimately crippling and you won’t rank up or you’ll slaughter these games and the other side will be justifiably mad because they’re facing someone 10x better than them with a 0.5x handicap and it’s pretty clear which one is the case. But ya know, I’d also watch Mike Tyson beat up kids, I just wish he’d at least be self aware about it

The fairer analogy is that Mike Tyson ties his hands behind his back and goes against Hodor. Hodor has the same physical limitations and capabilities as Tyson, but may not have the mental reasoning to achieve them. By diamond though this becomes far less so, because look at the King's Row game: the enemy team effectively countered Ball and were killing him. They just did it too late.
