I'm so glad I found your channel Chris. Not only is your work beautiful and just what I needed as a beginning colorist. But the fact that you don't talk and yak all through the video really appeals to me. Thank you so much for adding the notations about the color of each pencil you're using. You'll probably never understand how much that means to a beginner. Thanks again for this video.

I love this picture and your coloring skills. I still wish you would put up a video where some parts of it are done in "real" time (NOT speeded up) so I could get a true sense of how long it actually takes to produce the results.

I know right? I bought this book ONLY because of this tutorial. I like Johanna Basford's work but I just did a bunch of tutorials in Enchanted Forest and am pretty burned out with flowers and leaves but I saw this and said, "Nope gotta have that book". Ran right to Target and bought it. I am such an impulsive buyer for a good tutorial.

This is one of my favorite tutorials Chris. I love the realistic elements that are mixed with whimsy (usually the goal of my own coloring). Not certain why but my Prisma powder blue is not mixing well with either the gray, greens, or the black cherry and it is muddy ;( I checked and the tip is not dirty. I am going to try to redo those so I can get the blue light reflection right but I think I did not leave enough room for the highlight and the undertones are contrasting together. I never understand how you are able to get complementary colors so close together without mud with Prisma because I can only do that with oils. You are a master for sure.

New subscriber here. Love ur coloring. I'm definitely not as good as u but I'm okay. I know u speed up the video but I'm curious, was everything that u colored done in one sitting or do u color for a bit and then take a break? And if it's done in one sitting how does ur hand not cramp up? If I try to color for longer than about 45 minutes my hand and wrist and arm up to my elbow start to hurt sooooo bad that I can't even color for at least two days. I'm slowing down the playback and watching very closely to learn from u and my coloring has already improved a lot. Thank u so, so much for your videos...very much appreciated 🙃

I enjoy your work. You create some of the most beautiful pieces on KZbin. However, you provide no written pallet at the side for those who wish to use you work as inspiration to colour. You have a pallet why would you not consider that others would also like to have that pallet and be prepared with a list of everything they require before they start. You are not alone only one person does this and has for years.
