This is very cute. It can be used for sports. Sitting outside of the games in the parking lot. You can use it for just about anything. I like your idea Matt of bath room and shower outside. I like the sink inside though and have one for outside. It’s nice . Most people cook outside. I don’t like the step though. No sink and toilet inside other than that it is great! this is perfect to fit in my driveway and be able to tow it with my van. I just need something to sleep in with ac to camp on the river here in Arizona at 120 degrees but these parks have restrooms.

Yeah, I dislike that about these very small ones. It's great for tailgate party style camping, but terrible for when the weather gets bad A lot of people would rather the kitchen inside than outside. Come to think of it, an inside kitchen layout might actually give a bit more space to work with if done right.

I would put the solar on the roof to keep the portable refrigerator running. I agree with the idea of bringing along a portable toilet. This trailer would be good for a single person or a couple to use in a campground with facilities for a weekend. I like it!

This is really cool! Honestly, I totally agree with your likes and dislikes and ideas! Also, kinda a cool way to get up to see the roof. Would be great to have an awning too. Jayco is by far, for me, one of my favorites! When I am ready to purchase something....Jayco is number one on my list. Thanks Wil and Matt for showing it. I love these cool, small units that would be awesome for weekend camping, mobile office, or tailgating Dislikes: 1) I would love to see a 270° awning coming off of the back to the camp side with an enclosed privacy area around the kitchen area. 2) I would love to see a sink added to the kitchen with a shower attachment. 3) I would love if it had a ventilated storage spot and possibly an optional portable camping toilet, just in case nauture called. Likes: 1) Love the kitchen set-up with head height cover, it has lots of storage 2) love the sofa set-up but would be nice to have access to a fridge inside 😜 3) love the off-road and rugged design of this unit. I actually like that they included that step instead of solid step because this is small enough to fit in a parking spot, so you can access the inside even in tight parking spots

Fun review. I could see pulling this along with a little generator to take the kids fishing, to soccer or baseball games, or the like. Great little place to cool off, sneak a nap, have a sandwich or whatever.

Nice job Matt and Will! I think a teardrop is much smaller... although this is just as cute. It looks like I could pull it myself with a push assist. It's good for sleeping and not much more, but, it beats the ground.

Matt, you're killing me! "We were just gonna make fun of it...". I'm dying over here! That is a pretty cute tear drop style shorty. And it looks like, despite the cabinet/shelf thingy, you could probably still squeeze a composter in there. I mean, if you're going to take it off road, you're going to be a little far away from public toilets or showers. There are portable showers, too and that back end or that storage compartment could hold one. Even a 5 gallon solar water heater bag. You could also carry a portable grill to cook up some steaks or something. Not a bad little unit. Guys would probably pitch a tent anyway and let the girl stay inside. (Do you guys still do things like that anymore?) Nice little rig tho. I've never been much on teardrops but this one at least has enough room to not feel claustrophobic. Thumbs up!

I like the idea of a sink with a turn it into a bathroom idea. Many tear drop people bring a shower/toilet tent and set it up next to the trailer. And yes, the potable water tank just makes taking the water to your off-road camp site easier. And that TV can either be in the outside kitchen or inside in the trailer. It's a cute tear drop type trailer.

In the 70's when I was little, my dad got something like this to camp in. The kids got a tent, and he and my mom got the trailer. Inside was just a bed and storage, while the back had the outdoor kitchen. I like the idea of a sofa converting to a bed, and I REALLY like the A/C, which the old 70's trailer did not have lol.

I love these tiny trailers. The one thing they should try building is a toilet. Maybe a tiny room on the tongue area to just step inside and sit down to poop. I don't recommend pooping in an enclosed space where you cook.

This makes me chuckle... If you already have a 4WD overlander with living space, this could be a second room/office. It could also be a second room for a vanlife family. No sink, no shower, no toilet? Exterior kitchen? Seriously? The AC is only good when you're plugged in. That's a lot of dead weight for someone actually overlanding. You're either towing _this_ behind your diesel pusher class A / toy-hauler or your towing a small car. It's not otherwise designed for a full-timer. This is a tailgate party hut. A cold place to store your beer, your generator, and maybe some party snacks. I wouldn't spend more than $6K on this party hut.

I can't help but wonder what one of these would be like if they set them up to have a minimalist indoor kitchen and maybe did rooftop AC instead of eating up so much interior space. This is especially on my mind considering how little camp kitchen you actually get in this thing, since it has no sink anyway. Sometimes, I think I should be someone who designs these things. EDIT: Also, the design could use an awning, then it'd feasible to link up a tent or curtain to get access to the kitchen/makeshift bathroom without getting rained on. That plus a basic water heater and shower attachment would make this a pretty good setup

​@@3dartstudio007 After all this time, I've thought about it more, and it's even more confusing because it really wouldn't be that hard to do a kitchen that can be accessed from the inside and outside Instead of a fixed wall dividing the kitchen from the inside, have it able to opens up on the inside. There are multiple ways to do it Suddenly, one doesn't have to go outside to get a beverage or a snack, which is not only convenient, but can also help with safety

@@Frank-James Ya know, in all seriousness, it's a very small unit, so a laptop or tablet makes a lot more sense than a regular tv, so if someone *does* want a screen, that would be the better than wasting space on tv. Plus, some people don't want tvs/laptops/etc. in the first, so the loss of a TV doesn't matter to them

I like this trailer. Considering what this trailer is designed for I can’t agree with all the dislikes. The suggestions for the kitchen area outside were great. Could Jayco install an on demand water heater? Then install or have some type of auxiliary water system to have hot water. Maybe a five gallon outside water container.

I thought seriously about buying this when I was shopping, but I wanted to have the kitchen open to the inside and the back wall solid. I decided to out a minivan instead, but these have a few extra inches of height which would be appreciated. Nice little units.

This is great to fit in a normal garage. We have 4 young men in the family under 30. I think they would have great fun camping with this. Jayco needs to develop a tent system like airstream has, to attach for dining or extra sleeping. P. S. I love your reviews esp your pro and cons. We are doing a lot of research. Thanks!

There are many models of this that are very nice with toilet, shower, murphy beds, kitchen inside, etc. This little model needs outdoor sink and portable potty, which would increase price range. One can solve the shower problem with an outdoor shower bladder placed on roof and cheap curtain set up around outdoor kitchen.

I was hoping this would be a good substitute for those of us who are single, and tired of the process of getting ready to camp, setting up the tent, breaking camp etc. Just hook up the trailer and go, but I think the price is to high for most of us for that purpose.

Ideal if you're just looking to get out of the weather or if you're building a house with your wife and you're just waiting to finish it. Ideal for a lot of little things. I don't know why the TV would be outside where you fry hamburgers but. Seems indoors would be better. It suits its purpose.

How about some small truck campers. Like Travel Lite Rayzr. Cyclists who go 2-3 days on charity ride or new trail rides like a place to rest up get a bite to eat or charge ebike if you have good solar setup. A lot of trailheads only have car or van size parking and RV Camping isn’t always close by.

Unlike many other manufacturers that include solar packages with their 12 volt compressor fridges, Jayco has really dropped the ball! They make an off-road camper to boondock in but they don’t include a standard solar package to charge the fridge rendering it useless?
