@maxa.9135 Жыл бұрын
She forgets that strength does not 1:1 correlate to weight, Eddie is one of the strongest humans on earth and these contests were harder for Eddie as they assumed there would be a 1:1 correlation, there just isn't. But nonetheless, damn that woman is insanely strong.
@entertainmentfan14637 ай бұрын
Except it does though. Science 101 is that mass moves mass. Majority of living beings and even inanimate objects are usually capable of moving it's own weight in some capacity or another. It's the same reason why you'll never see a regular 180lbs dude ever come remotely come close to beating Eddie Hall. Because Eddie would only need to apply 1:1 weight/strength ratio to movie something as heavy as him (375lbs) but the 180lbs dude would have to exert over 200% his body weight ratio just to move someone as big as Eddie. This is the real reason men are generally stronger than women. Nothing to do with "biology" like all the misogynists like to claim and everything to do with basic size advantage. Same way a 5 ft 4, 140lbs athletic woman is going to cream a 3 ft 10, 50lbs boy in every way imaginable.
@Alexander-jw2wc7 ай бұрын
The correlation isn’t one pound of body weight to one pound of body weight lifted…a 400 pound blob of fat isn’t lifting 400 like Eddie can. You’re missing the fact that it’s the muscles pushing and pulling…
@entertainmentfan14637 ай бұрын
@@Alexander-jw2wc "a 400 pound blob of fat isn’t lifting 400 like Eddie can." The same could be said for any weakling or out of shape person. However if someone is fit and in shape enough to at least move themselves, than the mass move mass basic science equation is going to kick into effect.

@@entertainmentfan1463not really because if A 180lbs woman trained for the first time And A 155lbs man did the man would outlift the woman on everything and 1:1 means nothing because if that was the case then the pound for pound world record would be A 5”5 165 guy deadlifting 200kg and that would be pfp better than eddies 500 which it is not it is way easier to win pfp if your lighter pfp should be counted on How much more than your body weight you lift which eddie is more on As He weighed 190kg and deadlifted 500 kg which is 310kg more than His body weight whilst this woman said she can’t deadlift 300kg therefore she can’t lift Anywhere near As much As eddie lifts more than His body weight

Yeah. And also bodyweight and a half is unfair to Eddie, nearly everyone could do more bodyweight and a half deadlifts in a minute than him. There comes a point where adding more muscle makes you weaker pound for pound and Eddie has hit that and gone far further and it's bodyweight and a half, so that also makes it even worse. Id have to do 300 lbs, Eddie would be doing close to 500. He's also all burst muscle, not endurance. Give him like 10 seconds of recovery and he's going again too. He's literally not built for this. She weighs 60 kilos and can deadlift more than four times her bodyweight....do you even listen to what is being said?
@legendaryjimbob76854 жыл бұрын
@@stianjohansen7555 Do you?? Eddie was lifting 250kg and she was doing 100kg also woo good for her but even 5x60kg is 300kg which is 200kg lower than eddie record also if she can lift over 4x her bodyweights DOESNT GIVE HER THE RIGHT TO EVEN TALK TO EDDIE LIKE THAT take away the pound for pound bs and eddie would outlift her for warmup, so shut it will ya mister
@Haver20000004 жыл бұрын
@@legendaryjimbob7685 But if 500 kg isn't a 4x bodyweight lift then nobody cares about it in a pound for pound contest (which the video was about). Also, any man who takes strength training seriously would outlift her, because she is a woman and that's how humans are. Go to her video, find Asura's comment on her grip (which she replied to) and look at the replies and you can see me outlift her.

By this logic the next vid should be an ant vs eddie Hall, now that's hundreds of times their body weight. Also I think you should account for the square cube law if I'm right, cos there is a certain limit that physics sets to being able to do stuff pound for pound but still look human. With that said respect to both of them and especially for Eddie for being such a good sport.
