The frogs came out great but I really liked the first open of the 2nd round of the ecto-craw and stingers. Had the most natural looking blend balances for my eye. That hobby lobby powder looked to really add a lot of air that first mix in, though. And the color of the day looks like it would have great results with a variety of colors in that large/small add ins beside the emerald green. Red, blue and purple would be worth a try, I think.

I thought that the Ecto-Craws gave the plastic enough options to mix a great looking combination. On another front, I have been seeing ads for a soft bait color called Slam Shady. They claim that it doesn't undergo color shift underwater and more successfully mimics the coloration of a baitfish at all distances. Would you consider doing an episode on this bait color?

It's just a white pearl with some silver flake I believe..there is lots of debate about how fish interpret colors underwater, to me it just seems like a brand trying to capitalize on something that a biologist says. To me what matters is angler confidence.

Magic swirl smallie beavers from reaction innovations are similar, and my favorite for smallmouth. I’m about out of my stash of Big bite stick worms that color. I bought out the clearance bin at my local shop a couple years ago before they closed.

As an FYI, I had a minor "explosion" in my vacuum pot one time and had plastisol splattered all over the place. I discovered that a little bit of Goo Gone did an amazingly fast clean up of a really bad mess.

How warm do you get the plastic. I heat bright bait plastic to 170 Celsius, and it seams a bit thicker than what you use.

So i have been having an issue with my plastic ripping! I use the dead on plastics but when i take them out to fish, just sitting on the hooks on the deck of my boat, the plastic starts ripping around the hooks! Do you have any idea why?

@@WorldsWorstFishing okay. I bought the tube blend and the finesse blend. I mix them in different ratios depending on how firm I want something. I’ve found if I’m 3/4 or more finesse I really struggle with flashing and sticky baits. I do love how fish hold on to the soft mix though!

Don't think it matters much, and not only because those fish went home with me, I've never been not able to revive a fish because of carpet trauma.. oxygen content and live well temperature has cost me unwanted fish casualties.
