Best match of the tournament by far. This was also the first time we could see both of these players actually go all out. I've never seen wang chuqin play like that before, because he didn't have to. For me, at his peak, lin is definitely already the 2nd strongest player in the world. He just needs to make that peak constant.

@@GeneralTerzX Wasn't even close against alamiyan, and he beat liang jinkun earlier so what's your point. And filus plays long pips. Plus the first set was 11:1 for lin shidong.

@michikatsutsugikuni3098 My point is that for CNT standards it's not only important that you win but how you win. Also I'm following LSD probably longer than you and really like to watch him play. No need to get so defensive about this.

Incredible fight!!! Lin Shidong could be future world number 1! Very good match, but Wang managed to deal with the 0-2 deficit in sets mentally, raised his level and finished Lin in the 7th. He will have much trouble with this opponent in the future!😤 Kudos to the worlds best Wang Chuqin!!🎉🎉💪🧠🏓🇨🇳

Lin plays a powerful backhand drive a superb flick suddenly and unexpectedly. His defence is also so speed. Anyway finally Wang's powerful attacking playing style dominated the game. Lin has lesser chances to attack. Anyway no doubt it was one of best matches.

Why can't is show a ball rally without changing perspectives? (Ball in hand, ball toss, serving, and play.) Why can't they demonstrate the serve without video cuts? We're not interested in the video editor's skills. We want to enjoy the game.

At 3-3 and 6-9, Lin Shidong should be more careful when attacking without having backing up. It looks like he did not commit 100%. Wang Chuquin is so flexible and fast.

Chinese supporters have such a special mentality. Applauding poor points from Chuqin but not moving a finger when Shidong wins a great point. I mean I have no problem with supporting the bests, but to that extreme that's just strange (for a european / french mentality). Do supporters come to see their super hero winning and they don't care about the beauty of the sport itself (at least a bit) ? I know it sounds like a judgment but my european way of thinking is stumbling on that. If someone neutral can explain the chinese mentality with sport or tennis table, that would be a nice insight !
@MrFreezebook217 ай бұрын
Maybe the majority of the Chinese spectators consider Wang Chuqin as their super star, they came to support him instead of enjoying the sport itself. So it's the reason why the majority of crowd are female, that is much different from Western.

I would say that those people in the front row are huge WCQ fans. The reason might be because WCQ is a more senior and managed to build a strong fan audience. LSD is still young and have plenty of road ahead. He hasn't won any titles or championships yet, but I am sure he will. My guess is that those who payed to see this match are strong WCQ fans, and thus, purchased the front rows. It's just a matter of time, same happens for ML, LJK, FZD. You might hear people cheering both players because those players have been playing GOD level and showed their talent. But yes, I see your point, in major European competitions in tennis, etc. there crowd is more mixed and most people applaud after a good point. In Asia, as you have seen, the way of supporting is a bit different...

No sure if Tomokazu Harimoto would have a shot on the 2028 men's singles gold medal, given Team China has more mature and experienced players senior to him and there are more energetic and hungrier ones younger.

Nothing exciting, just a typical match. I'm getting bored with how tt is played in world level nowadays, similar play style about speed, spin and power. Watching a match of different play style is much more entertaining.
