I like how the multi camera angles are implemented. I just wish they show close up of every serve. As a fan and player, you learn a lot by seeing how each player executes serve and 3rd shot.

Xue won by backhand with plenty of unusual side spin PLUS his excellent handle on short balls

@worldtabletennis this one have great camera angles👍 Specially 0:15 0:55 1:30 2:10 2:20 2:30 but not the top of the table ones. You got a lot of views in this video

China is unstoppable the fact that many of these younger players are officially ranked at a lower level but they beat players that are ranked officially higher than them shows you what their real ranking is

Jorgic's backhand is less effective against Asian players who usually play with faster pace than Euro players. As a result, he just doesn't have enough time to execute his backhand, especially in short or mid distance to the table. However, playing more with Asian players will help him get used to the fast pace if he adapts well. Of course, his forehand needs quite some work. You don't want to be a one wing player.

Wondered what happened to Xue Fei a few years back, thought he would be the next Wang Hao (my favorite player) Maybe he's coming on now, he's 23 at this point, and hopefully he's getting into his stride now to make his move into the top tier of players. I pattern my game after this RVP grip/style, and its wonderful, especially on the backhand side, and I give players half my age fits in backhand to backhand exchanges..Robert at 67.

in Jorgic now is clearly a temporary recession, not in shape at the moment, I think it's not for long

Jorgic lacks stability. Sometimes he wins against stronger opponents, but then he loses to much weaker ones. Real top players like FZD, XX, etc. never lose to weaker ones; or maybe once or twice per year. In female TT it is even more so. Chinese female players rarely lose to non-chinese, and if they do, they are quickly replaced...

it's just his level compared to the asian players: with his FH and BH technique he can't keep up. LYJ, AJ and XF have simply destroyed him

Jorgic is powerful but slower than most of Asian player.

@@nulldemokratiezwei7773 Every player not named FZD , ML , LJK and WCQ have ups and downs . Jorgic is 23 , he still has room to improve when it comes to FH-BH transition and counter attack. By the way he didn't lose against weaker opponents for one year on the international scene until coming to Doha . His last bad loss before the one against An Jaehyun was in March 2021 against Filus in the SF .

@@topspin5244 yes he and European players in general are slower. However, he won against a fast player like Harimoto in the Tokyo Olympics. So it’s not that he is no match against fast Asian players. I don’t understand why he didn’t play to his strength (BH), rather was completely playing in reactive way being dictated by the opponent. He needs to work on his strategy and tactics.

What kind of rubber Xue is using? Some backhand shots from Darko just dropped in front of him, like he had trouble reading the spin.

I think he plays standard Chinese setup w h3 and t05 on bh

Skyline 3 on fh and he seems to change his backhand to dignics series (you can notice that the wing size of butterfly's mark is same on the both side, which only appear on t19 and dignics series)
