I competed back in the day...I think timeouts are stupid, when did this become a thing??. When you go to the table to start a game, play until the game's done - boxers fight the whole round, they don't get to say 'hold up, let me talk to my corner for a bit'. Now every time someone calls a timeout and they do well after it, the commenters act as if it's the timeout that resulted in the good result. Maybe the good result was coming anyway.
