What is wrong with these flash violators? The tiny on-camera flash is not strong enough to make a difference in the picture, but is annoying to the players. They should be ejected after the second offense.

Ayhika Mukherjee cannot beat WMY but can beat SYS 3:1. Same thing with Hirano Miu who never beat WMY but beat SYS last year. Your logic does not make sense. Just saying.

@@moiraleung Ayhika muther or whatever she is using outdated anti-spin rubber strategy. No wonder she's nowhere seen in the world ranking now. Once players, even the low ranking ones get used to her playing style, she's done and dusted. Sun probably doesnt know her playing style playing her once. But that's it. She probably couldn't even make it to the Olympics round of 16, I'll be honest lol.

Ito relies on different rubber surfaces to trick/upset her opponents. If no studied, it's very hard to play against. To be fair, players should use SAME surface on both side of the racket, eliminating the cheap trick for undeserved wins but, most importantly, retaining the practice of honourable/respected skill/virtue that ALL sports based on. For TT, solid/proper basic skill/training is what we want to see. Please don't take it away from us.

Bogut and TOXIC post. Why should EVERYBODY adapt to Ito's playing stye? If you want such a fair game, sure! take away all those "illegal" serves which are destroying the creativity of Table Tennis. Table Tennis is a great MIND SPORTS. Mima's losses are due to her lousier fundamentals that cost her games after games. And her reluctance to train with the Japanese team ensures she stays STAGNANT for years while HUMBLE and diligent girls like Hayata are getting closer to the Chinese top players.

This is a terrible take. Different rubbers allow for variation in the game. There are very few special materials players at the top level anyways

There's advantages and disadvantages for pip players. Players have to adjust and make preparations. Perhaps, that's one intriguing thing of table tennis that other sports don't have to this degree. Chinese went back to the lab to figure out how to deal with the long and short pips of India women players. It's not rocket science, just practicing against that style. If pip players want to accept the limitations of such that's their choice.
