I loved the fact that Jack was more preoccupied with taking care of Carly then helping Janet deliver what he thought was his child only for them to find out that the child wasn't his after all. I loved the fact that Jack ended up being a father again after all when Carly told him that she was pregnant with their fourth child. It was so cute to see how happy Jack was at getting that unexpected wedding gift from Carly. I wish we could've seen how Parker, JJ, and Sage reacted to the news from their parents about them getting a sibling after all with the news of Carly's pregnancy as well as finding out that Jack wasn't the father of Janet's son. It was great hearing Jack call Carly "my wife" twice and the look of relief on both their faces after they found out the news he wasn't the father. I was happy to find out that John ran another paternity test after all and he was right when he told Carly she ended up with the right guy after all in Jack.

Minus the stupid Jacket scenes(which don't even matter in the grand scheme of things), I LOVED it! Jack was more preoccupied and concerned with taking care of Carly than delivering "his" baby. Yes, he was disappointed by the news(which is in-character for Jack anyway), but I think as soon as he heard Carly say "our baby", it was basically, "Janet's baby who?" LOVED his referring to Carly as his "wife" and his reaction to expecting a baby with the ONLY woman he loves!!

I am so glad even after all these years that Carly and Jack got together in the end. In my head they had a baby girl so they would have two boys and two girls. Oh and thank goodness John ran that paternity test.

I LOVE THIS! I smiled like a child with a lollipop. I just love the way Jack reacts to the news. And how Dusty smiles when he finds out from John that he's the father. Everything falls into place.. and now when I'm writing this, I'm happy and sad at the same time.. Cause this will be the end of ATWT.. I hate it. HATE HATE HATE it. Give us all a miracle and give us the news that they decided to NOT cancel ATWT!! Please.. Pretty please.

Dusty finally has a kid of his own! When Janet first discovered she was pregnant, they ran a sonogram to find out how far along she was and the fetus was very small and it seemed too young for the baby to be Dusty's so they then believed that the baby was Jack's. But at the time, Janet had not been taking very good care of herself, she had not been eating a whole lot because she was too busy worrying about her daughter, Liberty who was fighting leukemia. When a pregnant woman doesn't take care of herself, the baby doesn't grow inside of her on schedule so when she had the first sonogram, the baby was smaller than it was supposed to be at that time which led them to think that Jack was the father. Not to mention the baby was born 9 months after that night that Janet and Dusty slept together.

I ADORED Dusty/Janet so much - I'm an avid fan of Grayson aka Dusty Donovan, hell my second son is named Donovan Shane b/c I loved the name and we also have a lot of Irish on my side of the family. I also loved CarJack, and I miss this show - It was bittersweet when it ended, but most of my fave couples were together all but Paul & Meg I loved them as a couple, their chemistry was off the charts! I just didn't like Emily/Paul ending together, and that very last scene b/w Paul & Meg was Emmy worth u could tell the actors really were going to miss each other - Jack/Carly, Dusty/Janet also off the charts chemistry... Hands down the best soap opera EVER! BRING BACK!

Yeah, I think Dusty got involved in other people's business so much was because he was a lonely man. He's an only child and his parents are both dead. But now that he has a family of his own, I'd say he's on the right path in life. As for couples, I did like Henry and Vienna together until the plots got out of control. But I think in the end, she should've ended up with Damian and they'd be able to start their lives over together and even end up having a child together. Vienna wanted to be a mother so badly and Damian barely had a relationship with his only child, Luke. One thing that I'm going to miss most from ATWT is James Stenbeck! He was, in my opinion, the best soap villain, ever! Statistically, he came in second only to Stefano DiMera from DOOL mainly because Stefano faked his death more times. Then in a soap opera magazine, he again came in second, this time to Victor Newman from Y&R. I don't agree with that. Victor does bad things, is rich and powerful just like James but unlike James, Victor has a conscience and ends up regretting things that he's done. Victor has even cried over the loss of people. James has never shed a tear and never regrets things that he's done. They once thought of getting Sheila Carter, a villain from Y&R and B&B to be a character on ATWT. I would've loved to see her team up with James! But it never happened. I guess the actress didn't want to move to NYC. However, if ATWT was brought back, James would never reappear in it. Anthony Herrera, James' portrayer, died in 2011 when his lymphoma returned after being in remission for 10 years. Anthony was 67. He was a great actor. Though, he wasn't really family type person. He was married for 5 years and then got divorced. He wasn't really a father figure, either because he was estranged to his only child, actress Gaby Hoffmann, who he'd had from a previous relationship. He pretty much distanced himself from her after she was born. He very rarely came to see her and when he did, she didn't enjoy spending time with him as she found him to be intimidating. But when you look at her, you can see his resemblance in her. When she found out that he had died, she had mixed feelings about it.

I have watched the scene many times over & over. Jack was more concerned abt Carly's well being than Janet having her baby. She had Dusty to help her deliver her baby. To Jack, Carly was his top priority (The love of his life). Im so happy they saw fit to reunite CarJack in the end. This way they & us as CarJack fans got our "Happily Ever After + a new baby on the way. 🍼 🐥

No soap had more potential--good actors, sets, history intact--but both budget cuts and Chris Goutman's ego--sucked the life out of ATWT. Long-term fans found things to love that final month whether Reid Oliver, John's return, Barbara and Lucinda finding love; however, no finale ranked lower after fans were alienated by Martha Byrne's and Scott Bryce's firings firings. The reduction of Craig to court jester, the addition of Janet and Liberty--who few cared about--and refusing Lisa a happy ending were big mistakes. Had Goutman continued doing well, not scared Hogan Shefer away, and winning Emmy's, no doubt he'd he running Y&R by now. He ruined his career and an iconic show
