I saw Bob Marley and the Wailers played at the Palace Park June 7th 1980 London with my brother Phill and he's mate Ian very good gig and a good day out nice one one love. The lineup was Bob Marley and the Wailers. Average white band Joe Jackson band and the q tips with Paul. The tickets were £7.50 and I still have mine.

In the Jamaican record business the singers always have to audition the song they want to record for the producer. Bob kept up the tradition, but he was auditioning for himself and bandmates, not some soulless investor.
