Hello Elliot Coen! I love your videos but I have a question for you, off topic, about Criterion. I'd like to buy some Criterion 4K's like McCabe & Mrs. Miller, La Haine, Blood Simple, Blue Velvet, The Fisher King, Menace 2 Society, Bound and others but my question is if these will come to the European market? I know most 4K's are region free, but if there's a second blu-ray disc that comes along with it, I'd prefer them to be Region B if possible. Should I wait till those Criterion movies come to the UK market with region B discs or should I buy these when there are Criterion deals in The States? Much appreciated, greets from Belgium!

Radiance is my top.pick for world cinema. Unfortunately I can't get all their.stuff due to budgetary reasons. But I loved from them the Cosa Nostra set. Goodbye and amen. Le combat dans l'iile. Really looking forward to their agitator boxset.

Tony Arzenta a.k.a. Big Guns a.k.a. No Way Out a.k.a. Les Grands Fusils was released on Blu-ray in France in 2023 by Pathé. The disc features the shorter French cut (in French with French subtitles for the hearing impaired) and the longer Italian cut (in Italian with English and French subs). The Italian cut runs 113 minutes and should be same one as featured on the Radiance edition. There is no English dub on either version. As the Pathè disc states both Versions, Italian and French, are sourced from a 4K restoration done in 2022 by Pathé. The French Blu-ray is available as a stand-alone edition (titled Big Guns) with one Blu-ray disc and two DVDs (Bonus material is in French with no subtitles) and as a single Blu-ray disc as part of a collection: “Alain Delon - 14 Films Mythiques”. It’s a nice box-set and you can get it for the price of three stand-alone editions. But beware: Of the 14 films with Delon only 9 feature English subs!

Tony Arzenta was my choice from Radiance this month. A terrific score by Gianni Ferrio is a highlight. I've had the CD for years before this release, which nicely includes both the Italian and English language versions with the usual excellent Radiance packaging.

The 2nd Bounty Hunter film just reminded me I could of been watching Seven Samurai 😅 but 1 and 3 were fun, some nice splatter 🩸 and a cheeky Zatoichi send up 🧑🏻‍🦯

I stopped buying any type of blu ray last year. Radiance is the one exception.

Can u make a Bluray video on some of the famous heavy visual effects film like Godzilla king of the monsters, Ready player one, Zack Snyder's justice league etc. It will be a great time.

Whilst i love Radiance, i'm not particularly keen with the Japanese stuff. Criterion was criticised for this in the past.
