I don't have any pinhole cameras & TBH it is not for me, although I do shoot film extensively in all formats up to and including 4X5. I enjoy looking at good pinhole photography though, and IMHO any movement to steer people away from the dreaded computer imaging called ' digital photography ' is a very good thing indeed.

Thank you Lensman 😁 I'm glad you appreciate pinhole photography, it certainly not for everyone, took me a while to "accept" it 😁

As a newcomer to the world of pinhole photography, I really appreciate your helpful videos. This was my first WWPPD and I had lots of fun putting a roll of Pan F through my new ONDU 6 x 12 Rise multi-format set at 6 x 6. The film sits here in front of me begging me to develop it. 😉

Welcome to the world of Pinhole photography 😁 Hope you continue to enjoy it, the 6x12 Ondu is a great camera to have, I have a mkII version. Just make sure you get that film developed soon 😉

I took out my Ondu 135 pano, Zero 120 pano, and 4x5 telephoto, to the local puddle of a lake to get my Pinhole day fill :) Acros 120, Ektar 35mm, and Harmon positive paper 4x5.

To be honest I didn't know about world pinhole photography day ( I'm not on social media) but I'll know for next year :) Nice to see your 'furry friend' back out with you as haven't seen him for a bit. New to pinhole photography so I always pick up tips from your uploads and look forward to watching each new video that comes out.

I’m hoping you return to KZbin soon. You are one of or possibly the only channel with so much related to pinhole photography. Your videos are excellent. I do understand the cost of film and chemistry these days. I have been using Kentmere and Rodinal 1:100 stand development for 30 minutes then one more agitation and another 45 minutes and the results are excellent weather you use the 100 or 400 speed versions. Very inexpensive. You really can’t go wrong as the developer eventually exhausts itself so you can develop different asa film in the same tank. I was also wondering about your experience on AliExpress. I am interested in the Artcise CS50C and it was priced very reasonably but the horror stories online have me concerned. Long delays in receiving the product, counterfeit items and receiving the wrong product were noted. How has it worked for you? Again, I really look forward to new content on your amazing channel.

Hi thank you, I have never had a problem with AliExpress, I had one order not turn up, and was refunded as soon as I requested it. Delivery can vary depending on cost of order, most come within a couple of weeks.

The pinhole community is a much larger group of weirdos than I would’ve thought. I can definitely see the appeal and may join the ranks one day. Another great video and images Will. I was impressed by the coordination of operating the camera with one hand and the GoPro with the other, and getting them both right.
@WillGudgeon2 жыл бұрын
Thank you Matt, The 2 hand camera operating is a skill I have been mastering over the last year 😜 I think you may enjoy a bit of large format pinhole photography, it certainly pushes you to think differently.
@MattWeddis2 жыл бұрын
@@WillGudgeon It’s definitely something that I’ll try one day. I have a list of things I want to do with large format and pinhole is on that list.

Lovely images and fun, but instructive, vid! And at least your WPPD didn’t conclude like mine with the back of the camera falling off with a shot roll of film in it : )

Having watched so many of your super videos Will I note you have a good selection of 4x5 cameras to choose from if you had to get rid of them all but one, which would you keep and why?
@WillGudgeon2 жыл бұрын
Oh no, good question 😁 Good points on all the camera's Ondu 4x5 - beautifully made and the rise feature. Mia4x5 - love the focal length, 35mm Zero 45 - takes a cable release, and multiple focal lengths on one camera, however the super wide 25mm is sometimes to wide. Best option would be an ONDU build quality with different focal length options starting at 35mm also having a rise feature and zero image shutter system 😉. I would probably go with the Zero image as it's an all in one system, but would greatly miss the Ondu rise and Mia 😭

Going through most of your videos, it seems you shoot more on 4 x 5 than medium format. I could be wrong. Is there a format you prefer? 6x6, 6x9, 6x12, 4x5 or some other format? And have you tried 35mm pinhole photography, or is that just too small a format for your taste? I hope you keep doing more videos as I have just about watched all of them. Cheers!
@WillGudgeon Жыл бұрын
Never tried 35mm pinhole, you get a better quality and detail with 4x5 which is probably why I prefer it, I do also enjoy 6x12 in medium format too
