Masterly effort. The Miskatonic Expedition has dropped from public view in recent years: this restoration will help right the historical oversight.

Announcer: "Professor Lake stated that the leathery, undeteriorative, and almost indestructible quality was an inherent attribute of the thing's form of organization, and pertained to some paleogean cycle of invertebrate evolution utterly beyond our powers of speculation. We requested that the Professor throw away his thesaurus."

It is unwise to criticize the owner of a thesaurus. Only 3 years late...

The Thesaurus is second only to the book of dead names itself! Roget and not some imitator...

R.I.P. to those brave men. We are all hoping and praying for the safe return of the survivors.

A worthwhile endeavor in our quest for knowledge and a fitting tribute to those brave souls. One query, however. I noticed that the first Alaskan sled dog appeared to be an English Border Collie. You inhuman monsters! How could you be so cruel? I will be writing to my MP forthwith to complain, Sir, Be assured of that! Prof Henry Russet

Mark H May I recommend getting the CD? Included with the CD is props that indicate the realism that it all did happen in 1930-1931, like a newspaper clipping, a few photographs, and a page from a sketchbook that was there.

Positively wonderful. We can always trust the HPLHS to provide a quality product, even when it's free. Thanks for this, Andrew. ^///^ (Oh, and You Guys better be making that translation of the Kitah al Azif. I know where You live, and I have Ghouls to feed....)

This was literally the whole first chapter of the book. Those stories have the same number of pages with the monsters no matter how long they are.

Sad that I saw more whales in this film than when I went whale-watching :P Amazing work by HPLHS as always.

Gee, I wonder what else happened? Read recently that a fully funded newexpeditionseriesdrilling and mapping. Despite certain warnings for Prof. Dyer (the venerable head of the Miskatonic's original exploration) we can now expect a full accounting of these initial and dramatic discoveries. Well, one can't stop science regardless of the incoherent and vague mumblings of old men.

Thoralmir They found something much weirder, then something much worse. Before the Thing, there was The Mountains of Madness. Don’t be surprised though that part of John Carpenter’s inspiration for horror came from H.P. Lovecraft himself
