Does he have a reef bright light on the old reef tank? I have been wanting to try those out and this video maybe has convinced me! Love this guy, a great personality and wants to talk about his tanks and fish which makes for a fantastic show! And Vic lets him talk which is something Vic is maybe working on. Sometimes passion gets in the way and I can't blame him for that!

I would put the chiller off the floor and see if it comes on. I have a feeling the cooler concrete floor of your garage may be affecting the thermostat of your chiller.

yes they are pretty common out here, very cheap and they add a nice pop, don’t know if they do anything for growth, mainly just for looks

because the reef moonshiners method supplements the need for water changes, it’s adding the elements back in so you don’t have to do water changes and it’s much more accurate

@@winecountrycorals I have a IM 75ext. Most my sps are only frags. I’m not sure if I should jump in on reef moonshiners till I have colony’s. I’m dosing kalk, no slurry. My alk 14-15, ca 480, and I have to supplement mag to maintain above 1200 which I shoot for 1450. I have been having troubles with nutrients way too high even though we change filter socks every other day. I’m dosing nopox and it makes the skimmer work really well
