Some big darts stores can easily start 'darts paint removing service' :)

I did the same thing to my Danny Baggish Darts, I moved the Black and blue paint it look 100% better.

I was surprised how much the grip increases when paint is removed from the rings. I hadn't thought about it until you mentioned it. Plus the darts do look better without paint in the rings. Take care, and recover quickly!

how about using Lacquer Thinner???? Can Lacquer Thinner harm the darts????

Tried 100% pure acetone on my Scott Williams Gen 1 black editions to try and remove the yellow paint. Didn't work. I wonder what sort of coating they used... Any other ideas, solutions I can try to remove the yellow paint? Would standard paint remover work? Cheers

That's strange. It should come right off. I did use some acetone based nail polish remover that my girlfriend had laying around the house and it didn't do anything. Then I bought the straight 100% acetone and it melted the paint off. Just be assured that whatever you use it will NOT harm the tungsten.

Done it last year on my winmau blackout’s…. Didn’t work on my red dragon razor edge zx 3s though, think its because there pvd coated rather than paint

Designa thunder or ruthless from puredarts are litterally impossibile to remove paint with acetone… i ve tried with many other darts and it works perfectly but not whit these two ☹️

I tried to do that with my Deisgna Dark Thunders v2, unfortunately after leaving them for about 15 minutes, the paint didn't come off, there was only a weird white sludge on the barrels🤔 I wonder why it didn't work. I used a 100% acetone for the process and did everything as you told in your previous videos about paint removing.

I've heard that the Dark Thunders are almost impossible to strip. I have no idea what type of paint they use for those things.

These points are fine. But since I bought them they came out with a smooth version. I'd go for those instead. They don't hurt the board

Any idea how to add grip to a worn barrel? The coating on my Harrows Noble 26g that I got in May this year has just about worn through and I’d like to add grip in the form of DIY coating rather than using grip wax chalk etc.

If you take them to the sink and use an old toothbrush, warm water and soap... Scrub the hell out of them and you'd be surprised at how much grip it restores

Hi, soon, after a few years of project development, I will present a flight index that assigns a value between 1.0 and 5.0 to all approx. 100 flight shapes (based on the wing size and the geometric center of gravity) - ascending from very fast flight to very stable flight. There was already a pre-publication of 12 well-known flight forms in a German darts book (if you like, search for "Vossberg Aero Index" - there is a short Reddit article on this). If you are looking for a flight that has exactly the same flight characteristics as the Combat (VAX 3.0): Kite from Harrows (those from Target or others have 3.1), Super Shape from Cuesoul, Teardrop from Ameri-Thon, V. -Wing and Xtra also have a VAX of 3.0. If you also wanted to have as little deflection as possible, I recommend the V-Wing or the Harrows kite. THE FLIGHTS IN THE VIDEO ARE THE UNICORN SIGMA PRO WITH A VAX OF JUST 2.2 .
