I really like the OG smooth ones. The reference point makes throwing so so easy. They also offer decent grip for smoothies.

Thanks for another great review. Currently have the originals and the Rustic Robins, favorite of the two is the Rustics. Want to order one of the Pro Tour models, probably the 1. Would actually like to see a model with this rear grip and a smooth front. You also hit on something I just started to think about, a consistent grip position. I’ve always used straight barrel darts, with exception being my old John Lowe set. This may be one reason I love the Robins so much, easy to get my fingers on the dart in the same place every time. Probably also a reason I like the Shot Tribal Weapon 1 so much…just wish they weren’t so pricey. Anyway, you talked me into another set of Robins. Just have to decide between the Pro Tour 1 or 2. May also order the gold coated set at some point. Thanks WWD!

I am surprised at all the variations that Loxely has come up with for the Robin darts. I bought my original set right from Loxely years ago. Now it looks like Dartshopper is the place to go. Great video. Thanks WW.

I ordered the set you reviewed ,the day of your review, a couple of weeks ago but I guess because of Black Friday they are still in shipment. I have the originals which I like but I think with a little grip will suit me better. As far as match weight I always put on a set of specialty points first thing so it changes the weight a little more than it originally was anyway.

I’m moving towards my 80s. I use cheap brass darts for the exercise to keep blood flowing in my legs as I go back and forth. I can say that expensive dart set does not necessarily translate accuracy.

I mean, if you're a serious dart player, a tungsten barrel of your choice will help with accuracy. It doesn't necessarily need to be very expensive, but saying equipment cost has no effect isn't true.

When you say you love straight barrel but the grip isn't always at the same place. Did you ever consider making customized darts with extra grip on the same place

Ordered them from Dartshopper based in the Nederlands, cleared customs and disappeared. Not impressed as such. Will be contacting Dartshopper on Monday for refund. Will keep you informed on the status
