I am really interested in these. Been looking at the Sony WF 1000 XM4 but these have definitely piqued my interest. Only issue at the moment is availability (in Australia) for both seems to be very limited. How would you rate these over the Sony model? I know Klipsch is considered a more premium brand but the Sony model has received huge hype.

Thanks for your inquiry and interest. The Sony has been a consistent best seller. The Klipsch T5 is the new guy on the block in the same price range. Klipsch has a huge following too so it will be interesting to see if it out sells the Sony eventually. Both are quality choices. Take good care.

They sound great. I've been playing around with the different plugs ever since the review and I did end up going up one higher to create the best seal. The highs are very clear and the lows are impressive for the size of the diaphragm. While listening to the new Billie Elish record's first track, "Getting Older" the T5 IIs handle the minute characteristics of the vocals with precision and clarity (listen for the breathing between lines) and the introduction of the harmonies. They are really slight changes but they're the details and high production value that isn't missed. I had my "A HA" moment yesterday when I was watching a movie on my phone. I heard a ton of background details during a quiet scene. It made it feel more like I was in the scene and not just watching it. So they nailed it on the sound.

@@briansowdenable Good to hear! How is the ANC? I bought the Klipsch T5 II Maclaren edition last year but was never able to get a good seal, so still using my T5 Neckband which gives me an excellent seal with comply foam tips.

Wonderful review. I'm currently stuck between deciding on waiting for the new Samsung buds 2 or get these. I love sound quality and decent bass but also want that minimalist look in the ear. I'm worried about whether or not the Samsung buds 2 will have good quality VS the T5 II ANC's. I also love Samsung products so it's a tough choice

How can the outgoing volume for the mic be adjusted on these if at all? If not is there an app that can do this? Can any wireless in ear headphones have the mic trim adjusted.

Thanks for your inquiry. The owners manual provides no details regarding microphone volume adjustment. The Klipsch Connect App provides customizable EQ with sound presets and access to advanced features as well as one touch access to support.

Thanks for your inquiry. An over-ear headphone provides better isolation from ambient sound more effectively than earbuds. Add the ANC technology and the over-ear models are notably more effective.

WF-1000XM4 is not an overhead headphone. It is an earbud. ANC on Klipsch T5 II ANC 3/10, ANC on XM4 9/10

Thanks for your question. It is difficult to subjectively evaluate sound enhancements like dirac & spatial as they are dependent upon the program material and personal preference. The Klipsch t5II are very effective noise cancelling earphones. We don't sell Airpods 3 so unfortunately we are unable to make a subjective comparison to products we do not sell.

Perhaps you can comment if you had any problems connecting the app to the earbuds. Mine constantly says connection error both in Android and iOS. So I have no access to the app although the headphones seem to work fine otherwise. And is Dirac HD enabled without the app or first has to be toggled on at the app? Thank you.

I haven't had problems linking the app with my iPhone. And the Dirac HD is enabled by default, so you don't have to worry about missing out on that feature.

Average every models, Klipsch sound is good, but should modify the App with more colour background like Jabra and more dimensional . Second , Sennheiser app is the worst, only black n white colour .
