Besides you enjoyed Tainan, it looks like Andrew also enjoyed Tainan. You have convinced me to visit Tainan. Before me asking you the location of the hotel and all the eating places you went, you already had included all of them in your vlog. You are the greatest!!

I just went to Tainan and will also agree that it was the best city to visit on my itinerary, and I went to every large city on the west coast during my recent trip. Chiayi was a close 2nd.

I lived in Tainan in 2012, all I can say is that the best part of Tainan is its people, how decent and welcoming they are. I miss the days of eating out everyday and I can’t believe you guys didn’t go to the night market, the real magic happens there, don’t miss it next time.

Didn’t have time but yes I agree that night markets are the SOUL of Taiwan! ❤️

Hello! My wife and I are from NY, too, and I used your video as a loose guide for Tainan. And we loved this city more than Taipei! You described it perfectly, calling it retro. It's more charming than expected, similar to how Philly has its own charm vs. NY (if you look in the right place). It's comforting like wood panels and CRT TVs, if you grew up in that era. We enjoyed Wusheng Night Market, too. Thanks! PS You and Andrew are looking good together!

Yesss!! Wow so glad you loved it! I wish I had more time to go to the night market. I’ve heard it’s amazing :)

Wow, what a beautiful city. I am from India, I live in Germany and 2 years ago I had fallen in love with this girl from Tainin, who was an exchange student only for 6 months, so unfortunately she had to go back :( She was lovely and always used to tell me about her city, her culture, etc. I hope that I will be able to visit this city one day and meet her again. Love from India

Hi. Female solo traveller here and going to kaohsiung. Im thinking of going to Tainan. Is it easy to go around the area? Which area should i stay if i decide to stay overnight?
@WorldwideWuАй бұрын
Very easy! I just took Ubers which were affordable or I walked. Anywhere in the Tainan City area is good since it’s quite a small city. I linked the hotel I stayed at in the description box and I liked that area!

I am also planning to visit Tainan. May I ask how did you get around in Tainan? I read the public transportation is not convenient and it is not a pedestrian safe city. Any experiences or tips you could share, I’d be greatly appreciate. Thank you.

I took Uber everywhere! It’s quick, easy, and pretty affordable. If you want to walk you still can, there are a lot of cute alleys and streets you can roam around. But to get to other parts of the city or different neighborhoods, highly recommend taxi or Uber
