Just saw your Seattle video!! It's so inspiring! I'm planning on going too, but finances aren't too great rn. I'll have to wait until my debt is taken care of 😬 The biggest thing I'm looking forward to this future trip: starbucks roastery, hiking, and city skylines. I live in Florida so I get to see beautiful water everyday, but it's flat so it's lacking exploration options. Also I'm nowhere near a large city with a bustling downtown, so nightlife is limited lol. I love the balance between city and nature, and seattle provides both! I'm a huge coffee fanatic too. What did you think of the roastery?
@RobDeMann Жыл бұрын

I actually went to Seattle a few weeks ago out of El Paso with my family, we actually got to check out the Space Needle, Pike Place Market trying out some of the best cheese and coffee and if im being honest in some of the Japanese restraunts in some of the areas the Teriyaki sauce is some of the best that ive ever tried before too. For my first time going it was an amazing experience, definitely a lot more different than some of your other big US Cities, and the fact that its about an hour out from Vancouver amazed me a lot too.

Though I noticed that driving off ferry and heading north to cruise ships, there were no tents. Hmmm. Now we go to Rainiers games. Lots of fun (minor league has more entertainment) and safer just to drive to Cheney Stadium.

There's a lot of bands that start in Seattle Washington every year and even though they may not consider them selves grunge! The influence the sound the style of grunge is still around like a ghost. So many bands and artists grunge if you like to nickname their art and music that are here. What many dont know was that grunge was a nickname for art, music and fashion before becoming a real scene in the 1980's! Grunge got it's help and hype from the rocket magazine and show hosted by John Kiester, almost live a Seattle local comedy show filmed in Seattle hosted by almost live's and former rocket host John Kiester which invited, hyped Seattle grunge bands Nirvana, Soundgarden, Grungtruck, Alice in chain's to rock fame before MTV did! I would love to see you do a video on the Seattle music scene and it's connection to king 5 almost live tv show and the history of the Seattle music scene from Ivar Hagland to Kurt Cobain to the grunge Seattle comedian John Kiester! That would be awesome to share of our Seattle🎸🎤👀😎

All the zombies crawling around in the traffic are interesting, they even have their own cafes! Paying $30.00 for parking near the Aquarium unless you are willing to walk a few block is OTT. I love going to the Japanese grocery store, Woodland Park Zoo and Art Gallery. But, for the most part, I make it a point to avoid Seattle, other than fo necessary specialist doctor appointments, dealing with traffic is not worth the stress. To say nothing of all the Woke Liberals allowing the druggies and homeless to destroy their city with their crime and garbage. Riding Washington State Ferries is a very enjoyable to way to spend the day and get away from the city.

We called out to a nearby cop but he didn't"t do a thing. We didn't even have anything in the car. Then we got back to our hotel and there was poop right on the sidewalk - not far from the entry. We checked out of our hotel two days early.

I found Seattle a tough place to be single because people pretty much keep to themselves. That might have started in the '90s when I move there, when people started moving there and Seattleites felt under siege, but evolution is going to happen; might as well embrace it and be friendly. But it's very beautiful and I so miss the Mountaineers Club and I REALLY miss hiking.

Near Seattle you can go up to Mount Rainier (Paradise) for snowshoeing if it's possible, or go to Snoqualmie for skiing (it's right outside Seattle), watch the Snoqualmie Falls. If the road to Mt. Rainier is closed, you can try Crystal Mountain for snowshoeing / skiing.

Don’t walk in small alleyways, take the bigger main streets to get around. Don’t walk at night alone. Keep all your belongings safe and secure inside your purse or backpack. Move your backpack to your front if you’re in a busy place. Research the area before you go. Talk to the staff at your accommodation about the safety in the area, so you know which streets / neighbourhoods not to go.

Seattle is pretty but it is a Horrible place to visit at this time . I won't go there anymore till they clean it up IN So many Ways . Violence has gotten out of hand. It's dirty even around the Harbor View Hospital. To me it's very risky . Homeless everywhere . It looks like trashy Sanfrancisco . it's not worth visiting till it's safer . I definitely wouldn't take children there. We had family that lived in green lake and in my view it's gone way down hill . It used to be beautiful and peaceful. Not anymore. This is my family's and friends opinion once they clean it up and make it safe . And I wouldn't expose my kids to all the perversion running a muck I wouldn't go if someone payed me to go. And Payed for everything .

I agree, used to live in Tacoma and Seattle multiple areas and especially Seattle is bad when it comes to druggies and stuff…sadly other than that it was my favorite experience.

Debra Atencio: Sadly, I live here in King County WA, near Seattle, and I don't know what's going on here in Washington State; there are so many Hateful and Angry and Aggressive people it's started to affect me in negative ways. Such a Beautiful Place that is full of NEGATIVITY & TOXIC people , and let me Not even get started with ALL the people doing Black Magic here, is like everyone here is SO Dark inside that if they don't like You; the next thing you'll be attacked by all kinds of evil Spirits and your life Upside Down, but that's until You realize that the person that You talk to almost everyday doesn't like You, for whatever reason that you don't understand, and the Next thing you realize that the person is doing Magick on You. It's One of the most Negative places with Such Negative Energy, but beautiful indeed.

Fantastic, but no mention of Olympic National Park, come on, that isn't that far from Seattle and is just an amazing place to visit.

Olympic National Park is amazing! We just found it a bit too far as a day trip. We love to go camping out there!

@@worldwildhearts I think it is doable, a very early start and Hurricane ridge is 3 hours from Seattle. So start at 6am, and be there for 9am. A full day hiking, leave at 6pm and be home for 9pm. There is a lot more in the Olympic NP to see, the Hoh temperate rainforest is amazing, but that really will need a night stay somewhere. Anyway, loved the video, I'm from the UK and last visited Seattle on a road trip fron San Francisco up highway 1 in August 2017 for the Eclipse.

The international district is something I would recommend as well. I spend the most time there. The homeless are sketchy in Pioneer Square. Pike place has little to no homeless people, and you are certainly safe there... Videos like this are so scared XD

Medieval village in Carnation was MAGICAL. It's not far from Seattle if you have a car. $5 to get in. You can spend the day talking to experts who can make so many things as they used to be made back in the day. They are so authentic that they have their own sheep 🐑. They shear them and dye the threads etc. Blacksmith, carpenter, potter, they make their own bows and arrows 🏹, scribe, and a big tavern that serves amazing old English food. I can't recommend it enough. However, if you are looking for something like the Ren Fair (modern-fantasy), this is not the place for you.

Im going to Washington in a few months, mainly for the national parks.... But i just dont know about Seattle. After seeing this and other videos on Seattle, it just doesn't seem like a great place to visit. Hopefully, maybe once im there ill appreciate it a bit more.

Washington's true beauty definitely lies in its national parks and nature! Seattle is fun for a day or so, but don't spend too much time in the city if you have all the nature :)

@@worldwildhearts thanks for the reply. Yeah that's the plan actually, spend most of our time in the parks and just 1.5 days in Seattle over 1 week.
