I find it really difficult to find the bus schedule to Nong Khiaw. Did you take the minibus from the new northern bus station? How many buses are there per day? To there and back?

Yes the bus schedules are impossible to find! They also change quite a bit. Best is to ask someone in a travel agency. They have the schedule! There are a few bus stations that run buses to Nong Khiaw in Luang Prabang
