This is one of the best video guides to Valley of Fire I have seen. Well done. Quick addition/update: Valley of Fire has implemented a reservation system as of September of 2023. This includes reservations for entrance to the a,prk, and the ability to reserve a campsite. Campsites have always filled up fast in the park, so the new system allows you to plan ahead and be assured of a spot.

Definitely a park with some very otherworldly scenery. Also important to note that many trails are closed from the beginning of June until the end of September.

Just discovered and agree. Lake Mead after Overton in Lake Mead has dispersed camping at Stewart Point. Camp on cliffs overlooking the lake where there is nothing out there. Tread lightly

Best bet is to live in Nevada & buy an annual state park pass. You can camp in the state park or boondock camping in Lake Meade. Always carry water & snacks, even in winter.

hello :) thanks for video. Very helpful. Pls is possible to walk directly to fire wave or I have to walk full trail if I wanna get there?
@worldwildhearts3 ай бұрын
Yes you walk the trail! But it’s not that long and hard. Just make sure it’s open right now because the trail does close for some time of the year (too hot). You can find info on the park’s website

Very nice video and useful info. I was wondering if trails are marked, or it is easy to get lost? and also if there is phone service around the park trails? Thank you both!
@worldwildhearts7 ай бұрын
The trails are pretty straight forward! Especially the more popular ones, just follow the others! I don't think there was phone service as it's pretty remote out there.

Are dogs allowed on the trails?
@worldwildhearts Жыл бұрын
Pets are welcome, but they must be kept on a leash of not more than six feet in length. Pets are not allowed in the Visitor Center.

Sucks that the best hike is closer the ONLY time I will ever be able to visit. Lol. Why not just put up warning signs and say bring water. Lol

How do you get to so many countries and you don't show yourself so much?

It’s not so much about us but more about showing others the places 😄

Drop the metric. Here in the US we don't use that. It's not intuitive that's why the Romans used inches, feet & yards. Otherwise a good video. Dislike for metric.
