Worm Farming - Making worms, castings and microbe teas all in one.

Here we are producing #earthworms, #castings and #wormteas, all in one Biogarden system. The biomass used to produce the worms is derived from the residue (muck) from the #liquidfertilizer making process in the adjacent system. Microbe worm teas are made below in the tanks. They are aerated with vortex and fed the same liquid organic nutrients we feed plants on other tables.
In a system this size, starting with 20lbs of red wiggler worms and using 40lbs of biomass weekly, we can produce 500lbs of worms in a year, plus over a ton of castings and enough teas to colonize several acres of farmland.

ive been trying to get black soldier flies to eat more azzola and duckweed. what i need to add or do to get them to be more interested. then i can use it as base feed and just add random stuff as it comes along
