I feel like the problem would be that Worm is too long. Just so many arcs to take care of, and not enough chance of enough renewals to get there. Its also a dark enough story Live Action would work better for that gritty realism that The Boys uses to great effect. The early powers and CGI cost wouldn't even be that bad, as its usually either flight or something that looks like black smoke (bugs/grue). The worst expenses would be Hellhound's dogs.

This is excellent work. It's amazing what an independent animator can accomplish. It's unfortunate that Wildbow has ceased searching to get Worm/Ward adapted. I love his other serials but Parahumans will always have a deep and wild part of my heart. I can tell you understanding Worm's soul as well.

This was excellent. Feels like an AMV of a show I never got to see. The Mannequin fight is still one of my favorite super hero face-offs. The sheer desperation of fighting against a Tinker that has gone full Batman on you, prepared for your every move. God, and Coil! Eidolon! Mother of Monsters! I love the footage of Khonsu! The Siberian! SCION! And 1:54 , that shot of the eye behind cracked goggles, surrounded by the hexagon portals... ahhh, there it is. The chef's kiss.

Worm as we love it - is a book. I think many parts of it are just impossible to put to the screen.. So I picked some of them I can adapt visually..

@@yhuanherrera1393 1. Some main characters are not attractive, and that's important part of the plot, it's not easy work for casting/character designers 2. Many fights are too detailed/fast/non-visual so we need totally new cinema language for this project 3. Story is reeeeally big and almost all parts of it are important for lore and exposition 4. Mix of genres. So we need to film apocalyptic, body horror, drama and action parts differently (lighting, colouring, rythm, camera angles, etc.)

Oooooooooo I love this. Everything feels so grand, and brockton really feels like a city that you could walk in here! It might just be me, but the fights in worm never felt very bombastic while i was reading them, but you really captured that feeling here! Also, the way the backgrounds are is amazing, it feels like these characters are in the world, especially that one with the Siberian, the way she interacts with the building and her surroundings is amazing :)
