Bjorn's music did more than half of the heavylifting for the early Worms games. The Worms OSTs, especially Wormsong, made everything feel so much larger than something to do with cartoon worms. You did NOT have to go so hard on this, but you did. Even now I can tell there's some soul put into this, and for that reason your soundtracks are vastly underappreciated.

That first synth arpeggio riff is not found in any of the other wormsongs, though the one from Armageddon shows up midway through the song as well. The chorus is definitely better executed in this one as well

Ngl, even tho' that my first Worms games that I use to play when I was a pre-teen were Ultimate Mayhem,Open Warefare (*but it's just named "Worms" on the Xbox ver. that I played.), and W.M.D.? It's wishful thinking but listening to this Nostalgic theme kinda makes me think about how awesome it would be if Team17 made another anniversary celebration for the Worms game franchise by also releasing the classic Worms games like this,Forts Under Siege, and the 1995 Worms games on future consoles like the PS5 and the Nintendo Switch someday in the future, so that I can finally be able to play those games on my Switch all day and night long😄

I played Worms 3D for years and I never heard this. I only remember "Ooo oo aaa aa" and "shake your coconuts" in that game. The only Boggy B story I actually remember is "Many moons had passed since the worms went to war" from Worms Armageddon. I didn't know other games had their own versions...

This plays during the credits of Worms 3D. I guess you never went there or never finished the campaign :) There are four Wormsongs in total: The first one from the original Worms (only on the PC version CD; does not play in-game), the one in Worms Armageddon as the main theme, the third in Worms 3D as the credits theme and the final one in Worms Reloaded again as the main theme. Though chronologically, Armageddon is likely the last as Boggy B is implied to die along with the general apocalyptic theme of the game and the narration suggesting it's the final confrontation. There is another instrumental version of the first Wormsong that plays when you wait long enough in the menu in Worms Reinforcements/United. One final instrumental version exists that is included with the official Worms 1 soundtrack, but didn't appear in any of the games. Worms Armageddon and World Party also feature an "Angry Scots Remix" of Worms Armageddon's Wormsong, and finally, there is a "Boggy B" instrumental version of Worms Armageddon's Wormsong as well. The Wormsong in Worms Reloaded is the only one not composed and produced by Bjørn Lynne, although it is similar in structure to the first Wormsong. Yes, I'm a fan in case you couldn't tell.

It actually plays during the victory screen as well in worms 3D. I specifically won a match once just so I could listen to it. That was the first time I had actually heard the narration/lyrics to this song. Additionally, I have my own personal timeline for Boggy B and friends. He victors in a total of 6 wars, Clagnut in 3. The Armageddon theme is Boggy's 3rd war (Clagnut isn't quite old enough to enlist yet). It's the first time Boggy sees a holy hand grenade and he makes the mistake of getting a closer look. His friend tries to warn him of the blast radius but it's too late. Boggy barely survives the explosion thanks to the swift actions of Kilburn and two other worms who rush in to save him when he hits the ground. Boggy goes on to die of old age and Clagnut retires from the army shortly after, unable to cope with the idea of fighting without his uncle by his side. .... I have an extremely active imagination. XD

Armageddon's wormsong kind of gets on my nerves after awhile. WWP's version is the best for me.
