Two things can be true at once, I can be Pan African and be Christian at the same time. Anything political or pan African I can broadly agree with what you say, myself and people like me who are pan African are ready to galvanise and sacrifice everything so that our continent mother Africa break away all the chains of oppression and manipulation. But the fact that some bad eggs used Christianity as a political force for selfish interests does not invalidate the efficacy of the sacrifice that God made when he manifested himself as man to go through the travails of man and come out victorious so that we can earn our victory by believing in Him. The word Christian means living like Christ, it’s for those who believe in Jesus as the Christ. Evidently those people that went ahead killing other people in the name of Christianity did that for land riches and money, they did it for themselves, but those were not the teachings of Jesus Christ so they were not Christians. I’ll join you in the fight for a great Africa and a better Nigeria, you may be more vast in knowledge of certain things about Nigeria and the world around us and me being someone interested in all these things sometimes I get ecstatic when you say things that confirm my views and knowledge about the world in your talks that why I enjoy listening to you but you know nothing about Christianity and in that regard I can’t listen to you and I urge any true believer to filter whatever bro Seun says about Christianity because he comments blindly about something he thinks he knows about but knows nothing about. I believe Africans too fought wars among themselves and like everything else, we lost this history to just oral tradition - no documented history like we have on Europe. Think about it, that we have a robust history of the great Benin which stretch from Edo to Dahomey is a testament to the fact of inter empire wars in Africa. We had warriors from various empires in Africa. Their existence alone proved we fought wars. The West has a way making their doings and history become popular.
