It has always been my prayer to meet Dr. Ron Kenoly and just hug him and say thank you. I was part of the mass choir that sang with him when he came to Ghana in the 90s . His music has guide in my Christian life over the years. He is my favorite gospel singer.

What a fantastic interview for former US Airforce veteran Dr. Ron Kenoly (of Coffeyville, Kansas) who started out singing for the late teacher, Dr. Lester Sumrall, and his music has touched MILLIONS since the 1990s. He started singing for his pastor, Rev. Dick Bernall, a fellow graduate (I graduated Rhema in 2003)of my fellow Rhema Bible Training Center of Tulsa, Oklahoma. I just learned his whole story today. I have been blessed to sing and cover his songs since Feb 1997 at FCC Jax (Impact Church Jax), and I am so glad that I gave up my life of secular music for sacred music in 1996. Let's give flowers to him now at 80+ years old, who has been singing, leading, and training people since his amazing first song that touch our life: "Hallelujah, JESUS IS ALIVE!!!!" I WANT TO MEET SO BAD; I am traveling to meet him!!

Tramaine Hawkins did a live video album around 1990. It was a great recording with a great band that included Carlos Santana. Lift Him Up video came about 4 years later.
