Man I've been following your board updates since the beginning. Was curious when your next one is! Good to know you're rocking the Stomp! KILLER unit!

Yoooo it's that time of the year! I always love your annual board updates. I gotta say, don't throw in the towel on the amps inside the Stomp. They take a bit of extra work to dial in over the Iridium but i assure you the tones are there. Play around with the Essex 30, the Matchstick channel 1, the Ventoux, and the Elmsley amps. Assume the starting position of every knob is wrong and it's up to you to find the right spot. The stock cabs are fine but you'll always get better results with some good quality 2x12 Alnico Blues and Greenback IRs. The Stomp becomes a much better value when you run stereo and use it to do the work of two Iridiums.

Thanks! That's all very good advice. Yeah, recently I've made a lot of progress dialing in a Stomp amp that I'm 90-something percent happy with now. I think it's an Essex 30 with some pre- and post-EQ blocks and York IRs, I keep opening it up and fine tuning it a little more every so often and it's definitely getting there.
